  1. Since the VIP was extended to everyone, it's most likely that Imgur (being the most popular image hosting site) was essentially alerted to PW using it to show images, which is actually against their TOC: Also, don't use Imgur to host image libraries you link to from elsewhere, content for your website, advertising, avatars, or anything else that turns us into your content delivery network. If you do – and we will be the judge – or if you do anything illegal, in addition to any other legal rights we may have, we will ban you along with the site you're hotlinking from, delete all your images, report you to the authorities if necessary, and prevent you from viewing any images hosted on Imgur.com. We mean it.

Sure there's ways to state it's for Fair use and what not, but I'll leave this to the 200+ E-Lawyers on here. And who knows, maybe they are being nice and just disabling the links. I don't know.

That all said, there are ways to get your images to show. I personally use Discord for my images. I made a server that I plan to never delete, and just added my images into it. Click on the image, choose 'Open Original' and take that link. Works with your front page using the BBC coding as well. You can also use https://imgbb.com/ which I found to be much more lenient than any other. The Google Photos is nice, but sadly PW only allows JPEG and PNG images

Sadly this is only a fix for header, cover, military, city, background and other images you can place. Your national and Alliance flags will be the same links from other image hosting sites, but this is where @Alex has to go and change EVERY link from what it was, to a new link. How he wants to do it for the God knows how many people, is not for me to say. However, it's an issue the community now faces, and with this being a 'part-full' time job for him with people investing in this game as much as they would World of Warcraft, I'm sure Sheepy had a plan of action to go about doing this.

You need to take that warchest to the gym more often

Forget the warchest, get that guy a charge pack or something. If his phone dies, we will have to wait for more exciting videos.

  3. Given the current events going on with the leadership of GPC, as well as the score differential that was happening on protecting them, I can see how this was a treaty that needed to end.

Zeon wishes both Golden Phoenix Coalition, as well as her ally Band of the Hawk, a peaceful existence between them, and a prosperous future ahead.

Due to the hostile actions of a low tier member against Zeon that resulted in the loss of zero personnel, The Principality of Zeon hereby declares war against the Yukikuni Protectorate. As Sovereign, I refuse to allow such transgressions, and hereby order Lord Sval to surrender to the few forces that are charging against their more powerful nation.

A state of war now exists between the Principality of Zeon and the Yukikuni Protectorate.

If you really want to embargo another alliance petition or order your members to do it, its not that hard.

That would work well in smaller alliances with maybe twenty people or fewer. Other alliances that have more than this (basically the top 25) would have a much harder time with this.

Who knows, this might also help break some of the deadlock politically in the game. And for a lot of people this would be a great aspect to introduce.

  6. It should be an easy implementation as well, since the system of treaties makes it where nations in treatied alliances can't attack each other, then embargoes against alliances will make it where the nations in those alliances can't trade with one another.

I feel if the NAP treaties being hidden on the treaty web can be fixed up within a hour of being suggested, a response to this thread certainly could be done.

I don't see how it's complicated.  It's a couple of extra clicks per embargo on the front end and few more lines of code that check what tax bracket a nation is in on the back end.  It wasn't meant to be a suggestion about which user interface we should put the button in, it was meant to be a compromise between the "don't be lazy, mobilize your players" camp and the "why isn't this already a feature" camp.

After having two extra cups of coffee, I completely see what you are saying now. I apologize for that.

At the very least, this could be implemented in this way. But that might require 'effort' so...We shall see lol.

You could do it based on alliance tax rates.  Any bracket where the sum of the money and resource tax rates is greater than X could have alliance embargoes set for all nations in that bracket.  That would further flesh out the distinctions between centralized and decentralized alliance economies and make tax rates a more important consideration for alliance leaders and players, especially those that focus on trading.

I feel this is an overly complicated input to a new feature. Perhaps it would be a window in the Alliance Control Panel near the Treaties where you can 'add' alliances that you can embargo.

This would make it where all members of each alliance can not trade with each other. It'll add more of a bite to the embargos, both politically and economically.
