You guys have this myth that small states cannot possibly exist independently and yet many many do. I understand it can be hard trying not to be an ahole crapping on other countries but the more you do it the more messes you make. And no you assume Hawaii is completely like the mainland when its not. It's easy from a perspective of privilege to say that everyone's free etc but not everyone has the things you do. The first think mainlanders whine about here is "racism" because like weaklings they are programmed to flee in terror from all thoughtcrime. But when you are in a truly "multicultural" area that is not bourgeois, it gets ugly, and part of surviving is knowing who your friends and enemies are. Here there are few guns so conflicts are solved old school style producing better and less afraid warriors. I have had friends in the Army say Hawaiians are scarier than Mexicans. It's just that we breed our children to be strong, its part of our culture, not going off to marry for the sole reason of individual gratification.

I think the trouble that many of you have comes from your secular humanism and dissasociation with your people due to cultural degeneration. Being robbed of your ethnic identity and national kinship has made you lost individuals floating in Babylon, bereft of your past and blind to the future. You only see today and your experience is limited to your own lifespan, but for Hawaiians, a hundred years is the blink of an eye. Hawaii was completely self sufficient with a population of nearly a million, and we were only overthrown after western filth and disease killed 90% of our population. We have everything necessary to be self sufficient for all necessities of life, if we divert water back from bourgeois neighborhoods and to agriculture. Also like most simpleminded mainlanders you assume every revolution is like in the movies when in reality as the strategic paradigm changes in the Pacific Hawaiians will be a more sought after group with our superior, non-wussified culture and either China or the US will seek friendship with Hawaiians and proletarian locals as a buffer.

I think Marx was a great early post-capitalist theoretician but I don't think he was right about everything, nor do I think class struggle is a uniquely Marxist idea (considering it is reality it has been picked up by many authors).
