  1. You have misunderstood or I failed in communicating and put across the wrong idea. I was referring to Zionist Jews which is the nationality otherwise known as Israeli (Jewish), I did put it in brackets above like all of once so I can see how that can be thought. The point I made is Jewishness is often I've seen put forward that Jewish people in Israel and those elsewhere are a one people, but in nationalist terms they are not one people. That was all.

Of course you can be a Zionist and a citizen of a country other than Israel, I even said you can be a Christian in America and Zionist so I'm not sure how you could think I said otherwise unless you missed that. Being a nationalist and a citizen are completely different things.

What I put forward is you can not be a nationalist of two countries. Nationalism is about putting your nation state's (more to it but keeping it short) interest above all other groupings which includes other nation states naturally. Now you can argue otherwise if you wish of course, but to me personally as a nationalist and thinking logically it's not possible.

I'm not sure where you came up with the concept of "Zionist Jewishness." I've studied Zionism and international relations and Judaism and never come across that term. I think your definition of nationalist as exclusive of other loyalties is weak. Zionism is the political movement for the establishment of Israel. Modern variations are focused on maintaining the success of the original Zionist movement. I think one can both support the existence of the Jewish state of Israel and also have nationalist loyalties in ones own nation of origin.

  2. Why would I say a bunch of things I don't believe? If you pointed out where exactly I'm supposedly being dishonest that would be helpful and I'd try to clarify whatever it as concise as possible.

How about the part where Zionism is a nationality, or where you can't be a citizen of country other than Israel and still be a Zionist? I have a hard time believing your fundamental failure to understand simple concepts is genuine. If you decide to reply, please try to be succinct.

I don't think a desire to conceal your identity and do things you wouldn't do under your primary pseudonym is a good basis for urging the game to allow multis to run rampant. Obviously there are lots of other good reasons to not let that happen, but this is a good start.

  4. I was in that chat as well. I am now MORE convinced that alliance bias played a role.  But secret mod identities and such just reinforce it for me.

I will await what comes out in forum from Thor's apology.

I agree that mod pseudonyms give rise to more conspiracy theories and other concerns about mod bias than might exist if we just knew who they were and what biases they might have. Between mod identities and the closed development group, PNW could use a little more emphasis on transparency.

  5. For my own part, I'm satisfied that Thor has recognized mod errors in both situations - thread and sig enforcement - and apologized on IRC (and, he said, will do so on the forums). I'm not convinced alliance bias played a role. I have some continuing concern that the thread lock was approved by two mods, but stuff happens.

  6. You guys let captain illiterate post thread after thread of crap on the forum, but then warn people all over the place for months-old benign signatures and close perfectly normal threads in alliance affairs about actual in-game occurrences. Did the mod team have a bad weekend or are things taking a turn for the worse?

ETA: And it strains credulity that you continued to give people "Verbal warnings" for signatures after it was demonstrated that your own forum interface gave conflicting instructions about line limits, images, URLs etc.

  7. As an aside -- Vanguard.

Next time you kick off a conflict like this, have your members attack in unison. Having them attack us one at a time as they come off beige is easily managable with minimal effort. If you did a coordinated strike at once, you could have done considerable damage at the very least.

I'm sure they appreciate the advice

  8. Dont worry Sae, Mensa people forget there was a game before they joined, and that there were wars before they started to become relevant. Y'know guys, there was a time when 40 ships was a lot to have, and what seemed damaging then now doesn't seem damaging at all, hense stats from those original wars would look pathetic comparably. But please, keep saying TEsties have no war experience.

No one said that about TEst people generally, and I take your point about Saeton and a "recentism" bias in looking at the stats. Fair enough.

  9. If ur war veteran knows how to fight, then why did I roll him with ease? After all u have been preparing for weeks, yet he shit his pants once I began attacking.

Because you have a city on him and you triple teamed him? You really are not firing on all cylinders, man. Maybe you should let the literate and lucid members of your alliance do the talking.
