As expected, some love this change others don't. I for one think this is a great update. The treasure system was being exploited outside of their original intent. Alex noticed this and made a change. This happens in literally every game people. I see no harm in continuing to tweak things for better balance.
For those calling for treasures to be completely removed....why? Your only argument is that they were meant to start wars, but that initiative failed. And sure, you're probably right on that respect. Instead of starting wars for a logical reason like a game advantage, wars get started for just dumb reasons because people get "bored".
I think treasures are still a nice little wrinkle. Just another layer to the game. If you're one that thinks treasures are pointless, then why the hell do you care about this feature!? No one is forcing you to pay attention to treasures.
You think you have better idea to help stir up war? There's this handy section on the forum called "Suggestions".

We at the World Task Force are extremely excited to be working with Valyria. We met at one of the top rated Pubs in Orbis, where Valyria bought us a round of what they call the V-brew. One sip of that delicious dark golden brown nectar and we were hooked. These people were the real deal. So when someone buys you a round of glorious beer, what do you do? You buy the next round of course! We offered with our own famous WTF brew and drank deep into the night. Most of which is a bit of blur to me...but I found this scroll in my pocket, which signifies the start of our great friendship.

Part of the description for an Intelligence Agency is that you can "recruit 3 spies per day instead of 2". I purchased this project yesterday, but I'm still only able to purchase 2 spies per day.

You can get it through the 12th. Don't you have a notification message on your main nation page? That notification message says "Click here to learn more". That's where you buy it.

I found it odd as well, but let's be honest, it was a pretty good business move to have an anniversary special package and that's evident by the prices of Credits on the market.

I believe one of my alliance peeps has discovered a bug regarding the war expiration time. The war in question is:

He went to go launch some ground attacks to end the war, but found the war had expired (apparently misjudged when he thought the war ended). However, he discovered that airstrikes could still be launched. If you look at the war timeline, you'll notice the time stamps on the final airstrikes are after the war expired.
Anyone else ever notice this?

I agree with those saying the captchas are way to frequent. They need to be scaled back.
Regarding the payouts, I believe they have just been returned to their original value. As a frequent baseball player, I'll admit the payouts were too high after Sheepy inflated them.
That being said, the amount of money you make from winning a game is ridiculously low. The money you make from hosting is fine, but the winning value is not. If you're going to have captchas pop up every 3-4 games played, the money you make from winning a game should be on average in the low thousands (say $2k-3k for winning) as opposed to the mid $100s (this is for a team with a 100.00 rating).

I'm sort of confused why Sparta entered the way they did. They declared war on BK and only a small handful of their members actually launched an offensive attack. Most of their bottom half got swarmed by BK. Seems they are basically playing the role of a Nuclear Knights, in that their plan is simply to launch some nukes.
Just about all their top half is untouched so far.

Edit: I'd totes join NK to blow up GPA but I can't cause just got outta a war. NK is doing a public service and more people should assist them.
I always love quotes like these. "I would help NK, but I have an excuse for why I can't. Other people should though!"

I was wondering if anyone would attack GPA. They are starting to run away with the alliance race. Although, I think the 11 members of KN are not enough to make much of a dent to them. Perhaps just be more of an annoyance.
For the most part, GPA has countered well. BUT, why has no one countered on Apeman???
Will be interesting to see if any other alliances join in the attack on GPA.

Baseball can be a great source of revenue, if you play it consistently. Like the others have said, upgrading your stadium should be first priority. Only upgrade players after you've fully ungraded your stadium and if you are a regular player.
I typically play whenever I'm watching Netflix (or when I'm at work sometimes....shhhhhh

I'm a bit worried about the amount of loot being to high. I image you're doing that to encourage even more war and try to prevent stagnation from "lack of conflict". Other then that though, I look forward to the changes and am eager so see how it all plays out. Thanks for continuing to add and evolve the game Alex!
