  1. 40k by far. The lore alone beats most sci-fi I've seen, canonical or otherwise.

Personally, I've got a soft spot for the concept of a universe entrenched in a hopeless war on all fronts, with brutal last stands being the most common form of battlefield tactics. The Grimdark tagline hooked me from the start.

And the fact that this same universe has something as amazing as the Angry Marines.

  2. I object to this slanderous piece of bad print. Never before on Orbis have I felt so highly incensed as this malicious mockery has moved me to.

It is Emperor Penguin Rikkar. Not simple, untitled Rikkar, as one might find as a clerk in a munitions warehouse. Not meek, simple Rikkar, who might be quickly placed on the Pecking squad roster.

Only once this horrendous oversight has been corrected, will I wholeheartedly confirm the unanimous decision to disregard our enemies.

  3. Hello,

After long hours of innumerable permutations in the name of reaching fascist policies, I've yet to exceed moderate on the scale. Though this might have been a mistake of the weaker sub-fowl that was head of political planning, our glorious new leader has promised results within the day. Might anyone have the cheat sheet for the correct policy match?

  4. Which course level?  The first two Accounting courses were simple.  I fell asleep in those courses and still got As.

Wait till you have to take Finance.

It was only Principles of Accounting, however all classes involving numerical witchcraft in general are the bane of my existence.

  5. I always remember my old man declaring that any assorted thing "went over like a fart in church". Flat jokes, bad moves, or anything in general that causes awkward silences were the usual trigger.

The other one is that X subject/action " is enough to piss off the pope."

  6. Khevin wishes that the NAP is still present.

Indeed! As we look up to our Glorious Older Nations, we hope to preserve our sovereignty by as many allies as possible!

    The commuseal takeover commences.

Our Expansion is merely to protect our lovely Mother-Islands, I assure you.

  7. Hello, Tovarisch-nations!

As our fascist enemies crumbled into dust, we have emerged from hiding to rebuild, restore, and rearm our glorious Mother-islands.

All are welcome. Our beaches are the best in the world!

Please pick up your government-mandated Ushanka as you exit the plane.

  8. I don't normally diverge from the Penguin RP, however I was a tad curious as to how many fellow car nuts are hiding in this forum.

What's your favorite car? Why? Do you have a car story?

As for me, I was for the most part the black sheep of the family when it came to automobiles, at least until I turned seventeen.

I was in a bad need for a rig to take my girlfriend to prom, one that wasn't a dinged-up rustbucket like my '93 Ranger. My grandfather had a few old sports cars, but as he got older most had been put on jackstands and forgotten about in his garage.

Anyway, I remember finally convincing my grandad to let me borrow one for the night, and we went out to the garage.

I was looking around, when I chanced a glimpse of a silver bumper sticking out from under an old bedsheet. With some help moving around some old magazines and spare parts, we removed the cover.

    It was a 1963 E-type.

It took a lot of work, and I'd lie if I said I made the prom deadline to get her running (prom was a lost cause anyway, the girl and I having decided to go our separate ways) but it was well worth it. I learned a lot from my grandfather, and there's nothing like hearing the roar of the big cat in third gear. It's still a work in progress- its mechanical parts are hard to come by, and its engineering is so backwards I'd be more akin to call it witchcraft than science- but nothing else made of metal has captured my attention so strongly. Currently there's a front brake leak somewhere that's caused Bae to get garaged, along with a general tuneup that's been required to do all summer.

Having a terrible time uploading Instagram or Fb photos, until I can figure that out here's a series 1 coupe for reference.

What about the rest of Orbis? Got a dream rig? Love your metal thoroughbreds? Let's hear some car love!

  9. Agnostic/non-practicing protestant parents caused me to bounce around a fair share of different faiths. Probably the closest thing I am currently is a non-practicing Pastafarian.

Though I see the merit in more organized religions, my paternal side of the family instilled a strong aversion to any faith or ideology that engenders group mass.
