  1. Thanks for all these replies. :D  Unity is strength indeed, that is why it is interesting to play together. I doubt I will come back to P&W, but when the game would change to my interest it is possible.

I will stay in contact with a lot of you so maybe we will meet again, I do hope so. B)

  2. The "minor" change Sheepy made did even more than he told us. The cap that comes on soldiers and so does work also for your rebuild rate.

My rebuild rate for soldiers went from 62k per day to 33k per day (my max soldiers only went down by 25%, my max planes only by 33%). I am sure many players will like it.

I always play a game for interesting things. I do not mind being smashed by good tactics of my opponents (cheers for Mensa and co), but I do mind being crippled by changes.

I play a game for interesting and difficult choices I have to make. That gives me fun. These minor change will bring more boredom. I know I can adept, the problem is why should I?

  3. I suspect they'll still be able to do pretty well if they just build enough infra to get out of the range of other nations that can build a lot more than them because of the caps, and in doing so they'll increase their own caps. The intention here isn't to destroy their playstyle, but to narrow the ranges in which it's operable by giving nations with very few cities but lots of infra more of an advantage.

This change does narrow possibilities indeed. Defeated nations will be easier be defeated in round 2 and further on. Result is that it is easier for winners to win on all fronts. Smart alliances (like Mensa, Guardian and SK on Arrgh and PP) do a good first strike. Less coordination is needed to go on crippling defeated nations because the caps changed a lot (less soldiers (for me from 133k to 100k at 500 infra, you know once defeated you are around 350 infra in a city) less tanks, less planes (ships doesn't matter). Easier to win with a good first strike is easier gameplay is less excitement as result. Sorry I do not think this is a good change although naturally most players will like them because their gameplay will be easier.

  4. sigh... where to start.

The same can be said about Mensa. Last I counted there were like 6 or 7 alliances that had declared on us. So the point is Rose is just shitty at war in general. They can't blitz and they can't defend a blitz but don't worry their money will fix it somehow.

You know I couldn't remember why you left Mensa but your recent posts reminded me. You take statements/jokes very literally. You should work on it. I'm afraid to say it but you are no worse than the people in this game that troll Dio because it's the only thing they can troll that might bother Mensa. I mean some try to troll anything else they can think of without checking any facts but shit man. I assumed being a member of Mensa for idk how long would have gave you a clear understanding of what we really are about. Obviously I was wrong but believe what you want man it just further pushes a divide between yourself and current members.

Anyway Dioism has been around for coming up on a decade and has spread very well in this game and is very much still alive in eRep. But if you had ever asked and were given an actual history lesson on Swedes and Spaniards then you would understand that both have become more of symbols than the literal translation of people who are of Spanish or Swedish origin/decent. If you'd like a better history on Dioism and what it is really about then ask Spite.

You are wrong about why I left Mensa. It was the tyranny of the Mensa leadership together with the many insults I got from part of that leadership. Insults are not statements or jokes I think, but maybe it is in Mensa's culture, IDK. For sure there was a cultural divide in Mensa. I hope it is fixed now.

I do not need a lesson about the Swedes and Spaniards because I know the history about dioism from eRepublik. Maybe you could ask Spite. ^_^

  5. "Those who shitpost do not deserve to live."

Dio is a great and wise God.

No he isn't wise, he despises Spaniards and Swedes. Those brave warriors will fight the worshippers of Dio  and because of that hatred Dio spreads it is a failing ideology.

  6. Niemand, I was one of those who dropped to counter you.  I know that many of us wish we could have you, Tywin and Dan back in Mensa.  HAIL!

So many nice people in Mensa. I wish it would be possible. It is I have found freedom and I love it. I have never been Dioist, Spanish is in my blood. The only possibility we could unite is that Mensa abolish Dioism. I think that will never work that to happen, so the best we could achieve is to fight together against our common opponents. I would be pleased that would happen and I know that will change Orbis forever. I have tried that to become true, but it failed because Mensa leadership didn't want that. -_-

  7. We've been spending money to bring them up in cities into a "safe" level. We've had members trash their cities, lowering the score, in an attempt to help them out.

It's a complex problem to deal with, but we do care, obviously. We've always been a tight-knit community. We don't view anyone as tax-cattle to milk.

Yeah indeed, several members of Mensa scarified their improvements and infra to wreck me and some other Arrgh members. However it turned out that only one was beaten quite well (me) but that all the Mensa members going down were wrecked and joined the Mensa members already in sad circumstances. It indeed proves Mensa members do care about their lower tiers (although Spite said there were hardly ones in Mensa) and I think that is the right spirit.

Mensa is a worthy opponent I will never hate.

  8. Why do you keep trying to make an artificial enemy of a long standing friend? Which loyalties do you really hold dear if you could even use that word...

And I think you got something big stuck in your throat. You keep making weird noises after everything you say.

I have no enemy, only opponents. Under my opponents I have friends. We just burn each others pixels.

As I am a pirate I have no real loyalty except for my fellow pirates. Where there is loot to take, you have a chance to see me there my friend.

The current wars give so much opportunities, sadly I must fight the ones that attacked my alliance. I could become so damned rich now without any loyalty.

    Edit: I almost forgot.

    Arrgh!

  9. Well, I won't be joining the discussion on these CBs and honor, how two spheres joined forces to fight against ours and whatnot. I will just make a simple observation:

If Rose/VE/UPN and allies do not get a decisive victory in this war, they should just disband or completely overhaul their top management, xdxd.

I like this, but maybe that should also be the case with the top management that started the war against Arrgh & Political Pirates. One thing for sure the war against piracy reactivated many of our almost retired pirates to piracy.

I still like that the most, so thank you Mensa, SK and Guardian. :D

This morning I have given some more slots to UPN it seems. ;)

Good luck to UPN and TKR. May your war bring more fun and more rum to your members.

  10. You realize that it is the religious obligation of every Dioist to call out Snowlovers where ever they may be found, no payment needed.

Counter proposal, peace out with mensa & enjoy looting all of the rose nations that will shortly be bombed into your range.

The amount of rum needed for Mensa to peace out with Arrgh will be a heavy burden for the members of Mensa. :P

    Arrgh!

  11. So sorry talking about exploits. It is Spite (Mensa member) that said 'The weak die, the strong survive! The mensa way!" not me. Arrgh does live and we are having fun. It is Mensa that has the intelligentsia isn't it? Mechanics that are known before Mensa together with Guardian and SK attacked Arrgh are now exploits. Come on, you can do better against loosely organised pirates. Bring on some more of you in our range instead after your initial attack with overwhelming power to beat us. I would love that. Pixels are pixels, game mechanics were know, more wars means more fun. :D
