Today I bought a lot of munitions, and not because I wanted to. I wanted to buy 10 munitions, but instead of clicking on the number to edit it, I unfortunately clicked on the "Buy" button directly. I doubt it's possible to revert the trade (if it's possible, I'd like to do that!!!!), so I'd like to propose a small change:

If the total cost of buying from the market is more than 100k, ask for confirmation from the player before processing the trade.

As it is currently, there are hell a lot of offers of total value close to a million or even more. Buying all the products in the offer, instead of 10-20/100 can cripple a nation. It is very handy to have the MAX amount of products offered already in the quantity box, but as I've experienced it results in some unwanted scenarios. And given that the "buy" button is so close to the quantity box, which I (I don't want to speak on the behalf of the other players, but I guess this is the case with them as well) have to edit every single time, so there is a chance of me buying all the offers incidentally instead of only a few every single time. All it takes is to position the mouse incorrectly and hit the button before you realise what you have done.

I am now trying to sell back the excess I bought, but this whole thing could have been avoided.

It used to be $5 per credit IIRC. I guess there is an increased demand in donations

It's a nice change. Many people had to wait ~20 hours to get their bonus for donating. Despite the more expensive rate, I welcome this change

So far I've been doing this manually on a daily basis, so having the game providing us with more knowledge on the market behavior would definitely make things easier!

What I would add - is to try and ignore the extremes if possible, although this should be already covered by the possibility of direct sells to alliance members/nations, so it makes it pointless to buy more expensive offers and have some of the money returned

I would definitely get the 3 war perks.

I love the option of getting a 5% reduction in infra costs, so I will consider getting the 3 Dev perks in order to get it. I don't think the new city per 9 days will help me, more probably it will have a negative impact on my nation's development. I would recommend you to move it to the 4th slot as it is something whales (players who pay >= $30 per month) will be more interested in than other players. I suppose that the 1 free improvement slot per city means that I'll have 11 slots for 500 infrastructure; 21 slots for 1000 infra; 31 slots for 1500 infra etc, right? If yes, I'll definitely consider getting this one.

Commerce Improvement Upkeep -20% is something I would value as well. Maybe the third tier in the Commerce tree would be something I'd seriously review. I would compare buying 1000 infra to buying 100% commerce at pessimistic resource prices and see which will give me a bigger bonus.

Trade boni are fine, but just not for me. Currently the market in the game is not mature at all, so depending on resource production is too high of a risk IMO

I totally adore the 4th tier in the military tree. IDK if it's worth the four perk slots though, given the opportunity cost.

I think the other monetary boni will give me a better bonus than the military discounts in tiers 2 and 3. I would consider the spy bonus too. I still haven't reviewed other nations to see how many spies they keep around.

Hi there!

It's quite easy to navigate around these boards. Much of your in-game concerns will come under different heads of player support center- bugs to tech support, game questions go to game discussion, etc.

Much of the role playing is done in Orbis Central and national affairs. National affairs basically means you roleplay as a leader of your nation. It's one of those special circumstances where you can praise yourself to your heart's content and get away with it!

You can also convey some important message. Say, a speech from you as a king to your people. Like that.

Orbis Central is basically - whatever you cannot think of a category to put in, put it here. It is Role play purpose only though. So no game technical questions. Only whatever your character can say or do. Say, a criticism of actions of some fellow player would go here. So will the praise.

Alliance affairs where alliances announce their stuff.

Lower down on the boards, you will find real life relating sections. Use General debate, to, well, debate. And general discussion to discuss everyday happenings, history, whatever interests you from RL.

RL = Real life btw

RP = Role playing

It's getting into a character and seeing and interacting with the world through his/her eyes.

Most of your posts will be of semi-RP nature.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

To answer the question, yea, I'm one of the late joiners. We come from a game called eRepublik where citizens represent their real-life nation and organize themselves in political parties, governments, military units and international alliances to compete on various levels. Most of us have "won" the game on each level possible, so we are now looking to explore more of the InternetZ.
