Whenever you're posting, there should be a little light switch in the upper lefthand corner of the tool box. Click on that, and you'll switch to the mode where you can just copy/paste things without it carrying along the formatting. Or you can highlight a certain section of your post and click the eraser that's also in the upper lefthand corner, which removes formatting.

I knew something like this would happen on at least one color, and am pleasantly surprised to see three alliances that I really like working together

Coal's advantage over oil is price. Oil's advantage over coal is environment.
If you're using one of the two, I don't really see a good reason to use oil unless you're producing it yourself.
Also, people always say Wind is a waste of improvement slots but it's honestly worthwhile when you factor in it's ridiculously low upkeep (particularly on the resource front). I never have to worry about buying anyone's coal, oil or uranium yet (though I'm about to switch to nuclear) and I can stockpile pretty massive amounts of stuff.

I think we should implement something like a test round that's entirely separate from standard PNW, and lets us test out new features before they get officially implemented (sort of like (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways)'s tournament edition)
Things like this would let us try out ideas like tweaks to military units, new features like treasures, etc. and make sure they're ready for implementation. It would also mean that we could try out 'riskier' things that we're afraid might unbalance PNW, because then we could test them without creating lasting damage to regular PNW.
PNW: WHAT THE !@#$ing !@#$ shit !@#$! edition
I think that world would be a good one for testing additions.

Hey Mr Placenta, this is a good suggestion
I remember this was proposed a while ago, in the very beginning, when there was much congestion
But now Sheepy might have the means to make it come true
The only problem is that it kind of cuts into enterprises like the Cirrus bank, which would make them rue
But I think it'd be interesting, to say the least
A bit complicated to program with all those variables, but once it got started I think it would rise like yeast
I think alliances would still be the most successful lenders,
especially ones with low loan interest rates, two of which you and I are members.
