  1. Howdy!

    Reintroductions are weird!

I quit playing about 2 years ago, when I was Steward of The Republic of Texas, in SK just about start to finish!

But I'm back, Rebranded as mr. Seven Kingdoms of the SK Losers!

I'm excited to be back, and see how the game has changed.

  2. I started on Rome 1 and played it for about three years. That was one hell of a game. I always loved the Egyptian faction, although, with the exception of the hordes who I just never cared for, I loved near all of them. Then along came Medieval 2, with its hot seat campaign and amazing expansion, I preferred the Americas campaign, although Teutonic was a close second. Empire changed the entire series, from its scale to how cities and armies were managed. Prussia was easily my favorite campaign. Napoleon was good, but felt the same as empire, just smaller and more focused. Shogun was awesome, but I have the least amount of play time on it. Rome 2, now that it's patched, is absolutely epic. I've got an ongoing campaign on it right now, and the expansion campaigns we great, even if a little overpriced.

  3. Medieval 2 for the win! Been playing it for a while now, I think it's simply the best Total War in the series. Very modabble, downloaded loads of mods. Shogun 2 is still awesome though, played as Ikko-Ikki all the time wipe all those ashigarus with my loan swords.

Also, I'm very hyped about Warhammer, especially the fact that it uses the Warhammer Fantasy as setting (which I think is completely underrated). Can't wait for it, hope they include Bretonnia and Warrior of Chaos.

I've got a Mac, and I know M2TW is in the App Store but I haven't invested. From what I understand it's hard to get mods that work on it. I will eventually though! I just prefer the steam system

  4. I'm getting really hyped with total war war hammer.......to many teasers!

Honestly, I know absolutely nothing about warhammer, but the game does look pretty cool. As long as it doesn't get in the way of the other projects I'm all for it!

  5. I haven't tried Attila yet to be honest, I'm a broke college student.n I'll buy it when it goes on sale. It looks solid though! I've loved the new Rome despite the birthing pains, but empire will always be special for being kick ass

Shogun fell in a tough spot for me, between new computers. My old one was in its death bed and couldn't play newer games, but I didn't have enough for a new one so juiced life out of the old. By the time I got something new and decent Rome 2 was a year out. I got a few hundred hours in on FOTS, but never got into the base game

  6. I absolutely loved the original. I got it for Christmas when it came out, though I can't remember the year offhand. It was my go to game, and it was so sick. And then along came número dos and it absolutely blew my mind. I played the little ones on the psp, like rogue squadron and something else, and they were decent, but no where close to the first two. The new one has me so hyped, even though I do t have anything to run it on...

  7. I'm a big total war fan/player since Rome 1. I played empire offline for two years before I got a a steady internet connection, and most likely have a few thousand hours on it steam didn't track. I suppose this thread can be used for discussion or setting up mp campaigns. Let me knew if there are any TW'ers out there!

  8. So from what I gather from this. Viridian Entente had a ticking infamy +0.10 effect for being so darn big and now that its ticked over 25 surrounding powers have banded together to wage a war of containment.

Thumbs up to those who get the reference.

    It's not EU is it?
