    You have been a friend to me since I started this game 3 years ago. Life is short, and you show me the value of sincere kindness. Not many of us can even hope to touch as many lives as you did, and that is an incredibly powerful thing.

    [DoW] Your Time is Up

    For weeks and months now, certain parties within the Backroom have been positioning both themselves as well as other alliances and blocs to hit Clock. It is simply not within our nature to stand by idle while others plot how to hit us, and hence Cata and Clock had to take matters into our own hands. It is no secret that our relationship with some alliances within BR is less than ideal, such as Bourbon Street, but I was unaware that declining to upgrade someone undeserving warranted such a petty grudge. Or maybe I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and say it wasn’t a personal grudge. What would we call it then? Paranoia? 

    Weeks ago, we began hearing about them approaching other blocs and either plotting to jointly hit Clock, or simply get other blocs to do their bidding for them. This was confirmed by none other than HW, who was one of the blocs that they approached. 

    BR has approached other blocs spreading rumors, lies and threats in a jaded attempt to get Clock hit. When we began to hear that BR may have been planning some sort of offensive, and CTO and tCW milled up, we knew we had to move. And it is for this very reason that we had to bring the war to the Backroom.

    TL;DR: Clock Bloc declares war on the Backroom.

    Good luck to you Vader, we’ve had a good run from when I first joined Imperium until now. I wish you all the best in the future and hope to see you stick around (even in TKR). Enjoy your retirement, you’ve earned it 😉

    Sad to see you guys go, it's been an honour fighting along side you, sharing all those laughs, memories and movie nights. Good luck to you guys and I hope we still get to see more singalongs in the future.

    The issue is that – whether or not you agree with our stance on poaching – MH continually broke the agreement we had regarding his alliance.  That in itself is actionable and justifiable for slotting him, but I still think we're missing the larger point.


    If Liberty had been competent at FA, this conflict would have been handled long before it ever got to this point. Instead, they rejected our attempts at mediation, continually escalated, and dared us to blitz them.  Then... they expanded beyond the counters.  While we hoped to resolve this, they turned this into a war.

    We gave members two weeks to get to know their TEst counterparts and were ready to back out at any time if the membership pushed against it but guess what? They didn't and The Order was born. The real reason MH left wasn't because of the merger, he wanted to make his own AA for months and was waiting for Imperium to get to a stable point before leaving; he agreed that the merger would do that which is why the entire thing started amicably. The Infinite Empire only started claiming it was because of the merge once other people started assuming that was the case. This is also an RoH, not a DoW, and should not be read as a CB but an explanation of how things escalated. Yes, we slotted the leader for poaching but it was Liberty that escalated this when they started attacking uninvolved nations and that's why we're here.
