  1. No real point in having it then. Seems moreless a waste of time that could have been spent on something more productive to the game.
  2. Where did I say I was able to choose not to be attacked? I said attackers could choose whether to attack a neutral nation or not. Never denied being at risk!
  3. Ok! 1. Never said I was a customer, I said consumer, and yes, we are consumers because we're using the game. 2. Never said we we're entitled to anything, I said it would be nasty to set up a feature that would possibly force us into the threat of conflict. My point about the donations is that the creator should take in the thoughts of the supporters since that is where some of the income is coming from to keep the game available 3. Never once did I deny I was already at risk, I made that pretty clear that I was, however, people only attack nations if they want to not because they have to in order to obtaine something they want like the treasures. This update puts nations at a higher risk.
  4. Understood, I still do not like the possibility of being forced to have something that might pose a threat to my nation. Especially if I have paid $30 or close to $30 for a month or even more, to help build my Nation up, if I'm spending money on a game to help grow my nation, and choose to be neutral to maintain the growth of my Nation, and to enjoy the game in my own way, wouldn't you think it'd be kind of nasty for the game creator to pretty much ruin that by setting up a system that could pose a threat to such gameplay? Let's be honest, this update is meant to tackle the issue of neutrality. (Thats made pretty clear.) However, it should be the players who choose whether to be aggressive or not. Users in P&W are free to start wars on alliances or nations who are neutral, no ones stopping them, they just choose not to. So I do not see what the issue is. We shouldn't be practically forced into a situation if we normally wouldn't do it. To sum my concern up. If I'm a paying consumer, which I have paid in the past, and probably will pay more in the future as long as I'm here, then my nation's safety shouldn't be placed at risk with an update (something that wasn't added to the game when I first started) just because I choose to be neutral and not engage in war. There's many of other alliances and nations who enjoy a confrontation, allow them to battle it out if they choose. However, it is your game to begin with Sheepy, so it's yours to do whatever you wish with it. If this update is implanted I will stick around to test it out and see if I like it or not. If I don't then theres always the option of leaving. Thanks! <3
  5. I didn't say adding a war scenario, I said it would force nations into a war scenario if they have one of these treasures. You know someones going to push the button at one point of time just to get the bonus. I agree with half of your last statement. I have seen some people who I feel are so paranoid about war that their not even willing to take measures to prepare for a possible attack. They rather stop the threat through diplomacy, ignoring that they could be hit at any given moment. At least that's my take. I for one keep my military at a decent sizes in case there is an attack on me. However, if I'm going to be attacked constantly over a treasure, and having to rebuild my units and infra, I might as well not even bother with the game.
  6. Agreed, I understand what Sheepys trying to do. Keeping us all active, and maintaining strength to make the game fair. But forcing a nation into a possible war scenerio with these treasures is not the best way to do so. I too will leave the game if I come on here constantly having to rebuild infra and military units because of having people attacking my nation just for a treasure. It really stunts growth if you think about it.
  7. F*** me damn it! I like the treasures, but I don't like the forcing nations into a possible war scenerio!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ummmmmmmm....... Your statements kinda contradict themselves!!!!! If the change isn't to eradicate neutrals then we wouldn't be forced into a possible war scenerio, you might as well just come out and say that the change is actually to eradicate neutrals! One other thing, I'm tired of seeing mostly updates towards the war part of the game, where is the politics? I'd like to be able set laws up for my nation, or experience or more political side to the game besides war. I decline any treasures being given to me damn it!
  8. National Species National Species are creatures used common in a nation. Some may be used to symbolize such nation. National symbolizations of animals may also include creatures from mythology! Example of national species: Canada National Tree: Maple Tree U.S.A National Animal: Bald Eagle France National Flower: Iris Example of mythical national/symbolic animals: China: Chinese Dragon Scotland: Unicorn ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Please fill out this small list of your nation's national species. National Animal National Tree National Flower Common Species ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In filling out the list you can either name the species, post a photo of the species, or add both a name and photo. :Example: Nation: Gayden Leader: Spyro F Dragon National Animal (Blue-Eyed Darner Dragonfly) National Tree (General Sherman) National Flower (Hyacinth) Common Species (Komodo Dragon) ~Hope you enjoy this post.~
  9. I would also like to add, to help Sheepy with adding what types of issues can be added to this improvement, we the community could make a thread and add Issues with choices to solve that issue, for Sheepy to look at and decide if it's good enoug to use for the improvement. Example: Issue: Same-Sex Marriage Description: Several Gay Rights groups are demanding that the government recognise their union, they have taken to the streets in front of many government buildings demanding a resolution to this issue. Choices: (Choice 1.) "We demand Equal Rights." says Joan Murphy, a leader of the Gay Rights movement. "We are human beings just like the rest, we deserve the same rights and diginity as everyone else. We ask that you legalize our marriages and bring us one sttep closer to full equality!" (Choice 2.) "Outragous, legalizing Gay Marriage will only bring more issues." says Conservative Buddy Cullen, leader of the far right group Christians for Traditional Marriage. "If you legalize Gay Marriage, what's stopping someone from wanting to marry a family member, or a dog, or a marriage made up of more than two people, let alone what about our religious rights?" (Choice 3.) "This issue can be solved all together pretty easily, Sir." comments one of your advisors. "Take government our of marriage all together, Civil Unions for everyone is the route we should go with." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If Sheepy thinks the issue and choices are good enough, he can add them to the improvement. There should only be up to 2 or 3 choices for an issue.
  10. Not sure if anyone else has brought this up. Or if anyone else feels the same. But as I see many suggestions go towards the catagory of War, and Military, we seem to have forgot the Politics part. Someone mentioned the game NationStates, and so I signed up to test it out, the game mainly deals with you setting up policies and laws for your Nation. And whatever laws you choose to go with when an issue pops up, it effects your countries title, from a harsh dictatorship, to complete anarchy, or a humble democracy and so on, it effects economy status, civil rights status, and political freedoms status as well. I would like to see something small added to the game that would give us a better feel of control of our Nation like so. Maybe have a small area on our Nation's Profile which shows what laws were recently passed, how our population or economy was effected by it, something other than relating to War. If anything it can just be for roleplaying purposes. What do you guys think? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I would also like to note, to help Sheepy with adding what types of issues can be added to this improvement, we the community could make a thread and add issues with choices to solve that issue, for Sheepy to look at and decide if it's good enough to use for the improvement. 11. I never said you made such a comment. Are you getting mad? lol It's cute.
  12. Maybe you should read my comment again, I said I'm not running the ToFA, I never said I wasn't running for it!
  13. I did buddy, and it's obvious you didn't with either of your comments. You never gave me an answer to my first question, you've resulted in repeating one of my comment.
  14. Well then, now you know the feeling of annoyance by the actions of others who have acted in this manner that has prompted this post. Are you one of those (others)?
  15. Not really, the cries can be ignored when a gov member, just deal with the important issues. However I just needed to make a remark of all the childishness running rampant in forums! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZy4M41oMA4 LMAO. I just love you silly guys!
  16. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!! I need growing up? I'm not one of the people who comes on here everyday throwing insults around at others like a 5 year old. I assure you, I'm not the one who need's to grow up! And I see what you're saying about how real life is worse, that doesn't mean you come on here and ruin the game with your sour attitudes (that's not directed at you personally), in doing so that just shows how petty someone is!
  17. You don't need a degree for anything, common sense helps a lt when making judgement calls. I have not taken this game too seriously in any way, if you find that me calling out the attitudes of other players as in (taking the game too seriously), I advise you to rethink your logic as well. Games are not meant to have a negative vib when playing it, it's to be fun for all, don't come on here ruining the game with negative attitudes just because your life sucks or you feel you have some bone to pick. So thank you for responding to this useless post while taking it too seriously to get offended by it!
  18. LMAO, nope, I have done anything like that, if you call me making this poll a reflection of the same attitude, then you should rethink your logic. I simply stated a fact about so many attitudes here on the forums, if me doing this comes off as the same attitude in your eyes, well then thats your problem!
