From my point of view, if he was doing it to be a dick, then it's a good thing he's getting his clock cleaned. Otherwise, maybe he.. no, I dunno.. he was just probably being a dick.

I meant legitimate in just general terms, all of the different ways that an alliance would be considered legitimate (eligible for treaties, trade deals, not being raided, not getting recruitment messages sent, etc.)

So you wouldn't consider the CU an alliance then since we haven't DoE'd (or have we... dang I don't even know anymore)

I've asked this of some folks on IRC, but I'm really curious what the general community at large thinks. At what point do you recognize an alliance? For me (and by extension CU), we do less than 5 members aren't recognized, but 5 or more are.

If a separate rate for each item is too computationally expensive, I would recommend at least allowing variable tax rates for food, raw materials, and manufactured materials.
Truth be told, this is more in line with what I was hoping for anyways.

In addition to all of Ashland's reasons, I am in disagreement with this because as it exists right now, if I borrow money from Ashland and then refuse to pay it back, he would have grounds to attack me, but maybe I wanted to built some support to defend myself from his retribution. As it exists right now there are a lot of chances for actual interaction and possibly drama. With your suggestion, it's just "I need money. Click click yay!"

Could we get the ability to "pin" announcements? Also could we have the ability to scroll through all of the announcements and not just the most recent 10?
