I'm going to figure this market out and make Millions MAH!!
I will be great someday.
Though I've definitely not figured out everything, I'll tell you everything that I've figured out on my own if you like. For what I think is a very reasonable fee.

I recommend basing your alliance around a philosophy of sorts, and run with that as your theme. It adds more meaning to an alliance. Kinda like what Rose did in the first section of our charter.
I agree with this, only without the shameless plug for my alliance.
I would be very interested in seeing a feudal alliance where everyone has people who answer to them and you get people beneath you by recruiting them. Or is that a Multi-Level Marketing themed alliance? I always get the two confused.

Ideas for a new alliance for Dallas:
Fraternity of Aluminum (FOA)
Society of Gasoline (SOG)
Confraternity of Munitions (COM)

Terrible, terrible idea. First of all score correlates more with age than skill. Second, you pointed out the problem yourself. You just make the big alliances bigger.

How patriotic.

Good luck with everything.

Welcome. Retroactively.

You're right. Clearly the answer is to allow us to have up to ten farms per city instead of eight.
Question answered. Upvote, please.

University of New Mexico was my safety school! What a coincidence!

Food and Oil, huh? I'll keep that in mind:)
I won't even charge for the consultation.

I looked at the costs and production associated with the various resources, looked at the market prices for resources, touched my screen with my finger (so it did that weird ripple thing) and said, "I, Ashland, shall produce THIS resource!" And I have not been sorry. Even once.
Also, you're almost always my competition on the market, so I feel like I should hate you. But I can't help but love you and your adorable, moist kangaroo.
And yes, the uranium market is currently a weird sort of reverse tulipomania where very little uranium is produced and very little uranium is used, but some people buy and sell it for some bizarre reason. Don't ask me why.

This is certainly a shame. Farewell.

I you welcome to Politics war and! yes

I'll put it in Pokemon terms:
After all of the experience gained by TAC in battles and in politics, the Alliance has evolved into it's greatest form.
That was slick.

Various people already in various alliances wanted to form a new alliance. Presumably for various reasons. We know the who, we know the what. We just don't know the why. Which is least relevant to us.

I currently have a surplus. Do you want the coal or not, dammit?
-
I would sell it to you for less than the selling price. Because that's just the kind of guy I am. I'm a giver. Give, give, give. It's all I ever do.

I actually brought it up in a very long essay-like thing I wrote up on the first or second page but a tl;dr is that Nationalism can be traced back to 1648, "Rule, Britannia!" was one of the first outright nationalistic items that scholars point to, and I mentioned something about how awesome the USA is.
(ooc) How is my new sig? Not sure how I feel about it yet.
Posts like this are why, every time I see your name in the "last post" area, a little smile tugs at the corner of my mouth. Not a full smile, obviously. That would be unseemly. But still something.

I didn't do either. Does that make me a moral and upright player?
I have heard so many people say that you are the epitome of moral and upright players. I think Gandhi said it.

What would a $6,000,000 bond get me?
Cool idea though.
Is this a serious question?
Because I'll sell you a $6,000,000 annuity in a heartbeat. And I actually know how money works.

I can't wait til I get home. Several of these changes were a pleasant surprise for me.

I'm looking to buy Lead/Bauxite at prices that are below sell offers but above buy offers. Talk to me.

Well if you want to use the classical definition, all you need to have is a collection of people who are acting in what they perceive to be their own best interests.
That's a pretty low bar, but mine is slightly higher.
Sure. It's not useful as a definition, though, because I would argue that nothing is possible besides that. People always act in the way that they perceive is in their best interest. That's why they're doing it.
Greetings
