Top News: Honoring Those Who Helped In the DeutchReich Civil War
With the conflict in DeutchReich finally over, we take the time honor those who have given up their lives to help our allies. In total, 3,000 (rp number) men have been killed or injured in civil war. The main Crystalist temple in the capital has dedicated a special service to men and women, offering prayers and aid to the families.

With the Empress still recovering, it was First Prince Ericson who had given a speech outside the palace, dressed in his formal attire and looking more serious than what we usually perceived the prince to be.

"My mother wishes she can be the one to give this, but I am sure we all prefer her to rest and gain as much strength as possible. Even so, her prayers and wishes do go to not only the ones form our kingdom who have given their lives, but everyone who have done as such. They not only answered the call to pick up arms and serve us but to serve our ally in their time of need, and a soldier who is willing to go above and beyond to serve is one that deserves great honor and respect. But I will not only show that respect to them but to their families as well who were willing to allow their son, daughter, brother sister, and friend to allow their loved ones to do this, to support them in what had to be a difficult decision.

"And for those who think they died a meaningless death, who think this means that all who follow the communist way must be evil, I ask that you halt your tongue and think of what you're about to say. Do you fight for what you believe in, even if others say they don't agree? You know we do not believe in communism, we have always supported capitalism, but that does not mean we turn our backs on those we call friend just because they believe in something different. We also ask that, even if you think it was pointless, you show respect to those who didn't think it was pointless and to their families. It wasn't easy for them."

The last part was in response to those who believe the Kingdom of Wintery should drop the People's Republic of Communist Japan as a trading partner soon after the civil war broke out as well as Albania' state policy. When the royal family refused to do such, protests have been broken out here and there while some have even boycotted Rose Designers, the kingdom's biggest clothing producer and personal designers of the royal family, due to their conducting business within the PRCJ.

Still, despite those who were against the war, many do hold the ones who sacrificed themselves to help within their prayers.

Top News: New Security Purposes Installed For Pack Members As Empress is Released From the Hospital
In order to prevent another incident within the palace, Pack members who wish for an audience have been given new guidelines.

  • Pack members must have their service weapon within eyeshot of other members as to observe any members who would possibly try to draw quickly.
  • If in audience, two pack members will stand beside the one who requested the member so if one wishes to cause harm, they can wrangled quickly. Several more Pack members will stand in front of the royal family and stand prepared to fire if need be.
  • Psychological tests will be held every other week instead of once a month to help spot those like Lia Ambers or those who could have harmful motives.
  • Those who have issues with what the royal family has done are encouraged to see if they want to continue to serve. Honor or legacy do not matter if you do not believe in what you are serving.
  • Those who come through legacy or through recommendation will go through a tougher application process than before to again help spot those who could cause the royal family harm.

Emperor Ajax has signed on these changes and are effective immediately. Some still do call to no longer allow those to become Pack members unless they are related to an original member, but the emperor has stated such a decision will be discussed further when the empress is further in her recovery; but has stated that the decision isn't worth cutting the Pack's numbers or to punish those who do royally serve.

The empress has currently been moved back into the palace after being discharged. She has been placed on bed rest and a public appearance could be a while. As such, requests to see the Empress will be accepted if one is a trusted ally although weapons or security detail will not be allowed (security detail will be provided by the family) and visits cannot be held for long periods of time.

Top News: The Royal Family Expresses Thanks
Emperor Ajax expresses thanks to the nations that have managed to show support to their kingdom and family when the empress was shot. This extends to the QE who have given them to the serum to help interrogate Lia Ambers, Chernigov (OOC: apologize if I spelled that wrong), the DeutchReich, and Rokkenjima for their offer in helping of interrogation (although we did not use them), and the DeutchReich and the PRCJ for their visits and gifts. He also wishes to extend thanks to nations who have held the empress in their prayers.

As of now, Lia Ambers has been sentenced to the newly constructed Royal Shield Female Prison in the northern part of the kingdom. She will be put in isolation to help prevent hero status.
