Popular (and Unpopular) Game-Wide Events

People look at political, dev and experimental changes to the game and usually pick a lane, doomed to ride the RONicoaster until it drives wedges between groups. We have means of reuniting people via radio shows, game nights and even whacking other alliances. However what major events do people remember that was able to unite a large portion of the game? What major events did people steer clear of?

A few people asked me if I was willing to do the Olympics again this year. Last Olympics was in 2021 where we had 32 alliances join in with over 140 participants. If people are genuinely interested in something like this again I'd be happy to work on another large scale event for the game. What would others like to see for a game-wide event?
