The Great Development of the People’s Republic

One of the China’s financial and economic centers, Urumqi which located on Western Economic Corridor

The Central People’s Government planned to build and develop Western Area of the People's Republic into a new Economic Corridor to boost the national economy known as Western Economic Corridor. These areas will be developed as industrial, financial and manufacturing centers for state and private enterprises. Investment values for these areas were counted approximately 14 Billion Yuans. There will be a lot of factories which focused on automobile, machinery, aerospace, and oil refinery. Local people and natives such as uyghurs are invited to work and they will be given free and proper education as well healthcare. The Central People’s Government hopes that the development of Western Economic Corridor will decrease economic and development gap between western and eastern territories of People’s Republic of China.

The paramilitary wing of People’s Liberation Army, People’s Armed Police Force will be deployed to safeguard and secure the development on these areas. Due to these areas are located near borders, the People’s Liberation Army will also strengthening its presence on the Western Economic Corridor by building military bases as well Air Force stations. The Western Economic Corridor is considered by the Central Government as a strategic area with high risks on security matters. 

 

Construction of Che Guevara Canal

At the State of Panama (a protectorate of People’s Republic of China), the Central People’s Government began to construct a canal which will connect the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean through Panama named as Canal of Che Guevara to commemorates the infamous Cuban Revolutionary Che Guevara. The canal will be constructed by a joint cooperation between China Construction and Engineering Corporation (a state owned company) and Wuhan Construction Company (private company). The construction funded through investments by multiple state and private corporations.

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) estimated that the construction of Che Guevara Canal will boost the economy of Panama as well its GDP. This will also give a lot of indirect benefits to the People’s Republic of China as well. The construction costs about 2 Billion Yuans. It was planned that aircraft carriers or large ships will be able to pass through this canal so that it gives more advantage to the People’s Liberation Army in terms of emergency situation.
