David John Alexander
A New Path for the United States For the last few decades, the United States has been at the most peaceful and neutral time in history. The United States chose not to participate in some of the world's conflicts and events. This is a part of the implementations of the neutral foreign policy made by President Alexander (Neutrality Act of 2017). This is a policy of neutrality that was first issued since before World War I.This policy reaps a variety of opinions from the public. On the one hand, the public supports this policy because this policy will reduce the number of US armed forces thereby reducing the burden on military budgets. For the first time in the 21st century, US military budgets were under 450 billion US dollars and armed forces amounted to a total of 990,000 personnel (Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines). However, this policy is also considered bad because it is considered a setback in terms of military and international relations. After a lengthy consideration, the US House of Representatives agreed to lift the Neutrality Act of 2017 and the US Senate also guaranteed it. This makes President Alexander required to reform the military policy and foreign policy. At a joint meeting on the Pentagon, US Secretary of Defense John Richardson, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Joseph Dunford and Vice Chairman of JCS Admiral Harry Vincents agreed to increase the quantity and quality of the US Armed Forces and military budget into 490 billion US dollars.Operation Vancouver In a military operation, 1,300 troops were deployed to occupy a new area in the area around Vancouver with the help of 3,240 National Guards. The soldiers will safeguard the area and reduce the crime rate. Once the security is completed, the US Federal Government will soon hold elections to form a civil government in the area.Residents of vancouver welcomed the arrival of US soldiers who came by using some Military Vehicles. Vancouver residents did not resist against US soldiers. The commander of the 21st Infantry Division met with representatives of the Vancouver government and made an agreement whose content was that Vancouver agreed to join the United States.Meanwhile, the US Fleet Forces Command and US Pacific Fleet have increased up security over the Atlantic and Pacific oceans to avoid infiltration of ships from foreign countries seeking to enter the US territory illegally. In addition, several F-16s were also deployed to secure airspace around Vancouver.
