In Germany, the pressure on the Government to reinstate Democratic Values has greatly increased over the years. Under Arch Duke Jæger, the calls for greater autonomy and self-determination have risen amongst the people. Although the Euro-Britannian Council and Council of Elders were unwilling to relinquish their great power to the People. Public Pressure soon turned into possible conflict. The Arch Duke was willing to compromise on reforming the Nationalversammlung and Senat of the Old Federation. However, he knew that giving into public pressure would result in further chaos. He would need to strengthen his supporters and followers. While many in the Nederlands and Northern Germany supported the Arch Duke and Britannia. Southern Germany was a continued nuisance of the Old Federation. One place where reform was needed and highly requested was the Armed Forces.

Back in the early days of the Britannia take over. The Military was renamed to the Colonial Armed Forces, in conjunction with every other Britannia Colony. However as Britannia rules slowly diminished and greater autonomy was given. The Colonial Armed Forces were a sheer fabric of the Britannian Colony. The Arch Duke had a personal investment in the Armed Forces. The flaws of the previous German Governments were a lack of decisiveness and military might, but the Army had felt that the Royal Britannia Armed Forces had a stench of superiority. The Euro-Britannian Council reluctantly renamed the Colonial Armed Forces to the Königliche Deutsche Streitkräfte. The Joint Chiefs and members of the Colonial Armed Forces called it a major victory for autonomy of the Armed Forces.  The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs said that although the Armed Forces still serve The Homeland and Fatherland, it is a sign of integrity and heritage that will strengthen the kinship of our Armed Forces. I thank the Euro-Britannia Council for approving this rebranding. Overall, it is expected to cost 600,000 Kronens to rebrand and rename equipment and other places such as Websites, Embassies, Consulates, Recruitment Posts, and International Military Standards.

The Königliche Deutsche Streitkräfte is also set to retire the Sunderland from the Royal Nightmare Wing of the Royal Air Force. Although there are not set dates, a Defense Spokeswomen said that plans were emplaced and that the Joint Chiefs will discuss a cost effective program to replace the German Knightmares.

The His Majesty Royal Navy is also set to acquire a third Aircraft Carrier to it’s fleet. The Defense Spokesman said that the plans were emplaced back in 2004 during the Bundesreich’s Naval Advancement Program. The Charles Class Carrier is a 100,000 ton steel carrier. The Charles Class is expected to replace the Merkel Class Carrier. The SMDS Victory (a Victory Class Carrier) The SMDS Merkel (a Vengeance Class-Carrier) are the current two Aircraft Carriers of the Royal Armed Forces. Playing a pivotal role in Germanys Foreign Interventions and Foreign Policy. The SMDS Frederick the Great is to be completed by December 2017. The Carrier will be able to hold 90 Fighters, 3 Helicopters, and has a crew size of roughly 2,800 sailors. The Navy’s LSW Program has expanded to a total of 27 Ships. Finally the Chandler-Class Missile Cruiser replace the Reinhardt-Class Missile Cruiser.

While the Royal Marine Corps is expected to remain the same, it is going to expand its aerial wing. Using funds from the 2016 Defense Budget, the Royal Marine Corps will add 12 Ospreys to it’s already 20 Arsenal and 24 Blackbeards. Marine Spokesmen said that the plans to modernize the aerial wing go the Marine Corps are to keep the Marine Doctrine active and compatible. The Bradley IFV was also purchased from Bradley Military Complex. Although the German Puma is far more superior the Bradley is quicker and faster. As well as being refined from The US’s war in the middle east.

The Modernization is expected to cost over 1.3 Trillion Kronens, over the next 5 years. The Old equipment and ships are expected to be sold to foreign nations. As well as part of the German Militaries Foreign Aid budget. However, most are expected to be sold for scrap or dismantled to be reused.

Speaking at the Dresden National War College, Duchess Katherine spoke to the rising class of the 2018.

“It is lighting to see many new faces, every year I attend the Ceremony starting the School Year and every year there are more and more students. The Fatherland needs good officers like yourselves. While in the heat of battle, your training and your wit will save you. Not some fancy weapon or some fancy technology. Germany has had along tradition of warriors, and the valor of dutchmen and honor of the Singaporeans. While we identify as various ethnic groups, in the armed forces we are all soldiers of the Fatherland. To that, I bid you a hopeful and successful school year. May you rise as Germanys Finest, and led your brothers and sisters into combat with intellect and determination.
