I would like to commend Placentica and ezg for being mature, civil and friendly in their communications with me, even though they have thoroughly defeated my nation this round.
I regret that I cannot say the same of all my adversaries.
I, for one, look forward to Lyrositor's ongoing testing of Dacia's Iron Dome systems, let's see how the odds shake out.

I was going to have a longer reply, I may yet get around to it, but my main takeaway from all this is that Steve's way more reasonable than I expected. I expected irreconcilable differences, I thought after all the shit flung, there was a deep issue. TBH, Partisan and Steve need a 5 minute conversation about what happened without spin (if that's even possible). The root of this is like the lack of a 15 minute warning on the SK hit, misunderstanding when James says "talk to Steve," and using Abbas as proof. You guys could be adults about this, or we could have a real big war.
P.S. ILU Abbas, but you say weirdass shit.

Do you guys have an eta on your glorious response? I was kind of expecting update, but obviously that's come and gone. I am genuinely curious since you guys have been hyping this all day. I do hope you are providing time and date stamps for stuff as the ancient things that are time stamped only always annoy me.
I do know there's been a shit ton of paranoia and suspicion on both sides, but if you have something actually damning I am genuinely curious. (also mancrush on Manthrax)

sure, sometimes, i'll worry if i'll get taken the wrong way and be seen as racist, or that i'll accidentally say something only to find out that it's racist and i didn't realize it, but most adults can work through these minor issues with little difficulty through talking things out and apologizing if you've screwed up
being a minority doesn't exempt you from stupidity, either. the majority of black people i've talked to about these issues get really annoyed when black people do racist things, even moreso than white racism, because they see it as fueling that fire.
it isn't that i don't understand why white people want to take pride in their legacy - vikings are !@#$ awesome and germany is filled with a lot of great people who have done a lot of really cool shit. the thing is, though, that the nazis weren't even in power for an entire decade. so like if you're sitting there basing yourself on perhaps the worst thing white people have ever done, it's going to draw concerns, no matter your intentions. i would love to see a viking/german/etc. alliance that actually was trying to just celebrate the history of those cultures. but that's not what's usually going on.
Good thing that the odal rune is associated with homeland and noble estates instead of those dreadful Nazi's then.

I'm glad this got sorted out before it came to mistaken war. I think this incident has shown some impressive response times and a few problems in the flow of information. I do wish that Seabass let us know with more that t-4 minutes that it was a drill and am a little disappointed that he thought we couldn't be trusted not to leak back to his members. Despite all the mistakes made I hope we can continue to have warm or at least decent relations with Sparta and TEst as they are both stand up alliances of good quality.

Good luck wherever you end up Seabass even you end up staying in Sparta. You put together a solid alliance and it's a shame to see you leave it. This one mistake aside you've done a pretty damn good job.

Already suggested it before in my spheres suggestion, only that one applies to all of the top 10 and not just the top 1.
The sphere suggestion was a much better one. Tariffs if introduced should be on an AA or sphere basis. The #1 AA getting a huge income boost is totally out of wack.

Religions that have been subverted by states tend to not support peace. I guess other if other if it includes none. Atheism has part of communist doctrine for war. No religion is perfect, no religion is the religion of peace. Even buddhism has strongly violent sects in Thailand and Burma.

25? Maybe. 65? Definitely. There is definately some level of cognitive development that should result in the legal right to die, especially as the value of the citizen to the state declines.
