tS got into a spat with Alpha because we didn't tell them we were going in against SK. Partisan in the blog posts had even said that his relationship with Steve was great until then. The only thing that TEst did differently than Alpha in almost the exact same scenario was that TEst was paperless.
TEst Gov also did not promise t$ membership that they wouldn't hit Pantheon. TEst did not hold a treaty with an information clause with t$. TEst admitted that t$ should be pissed over the hit at the time. And best of all, we actually talked to t$ post-war to work on our friendship. The situations are only the same if you entirely ignore diplomacy.

Literally the same scenario. Alpha was friends. Then we rolled SK, tS's friend (Because, according to Partisan, we didn't talk to them about it beforehand). Which suggests that you talked to tS beforehand and got permission to roll the shit out of Pantheon.
TEst wasn't a M-level ally of t$, just a friend. Paperless and paper function differently, a friend and an ally are very different things.

You'll have to line up anyway because I'm in 3 defensives haha
I can't imagine why.

I have more wealth than that and I don't have an alliance. Come on bro, you spent 2 years on this.?
You can't declare war on this nation because they are outside of your war range. Your war range extends to +75% or -25% of your score. You can also always declare on nations within the next 10 ranks above you.

Good luck DragonK, I look forward to seeing what you can do.

Anyone who interferes with this Operation will have their nations enrolled in the Building Inspection Program, which may result in the loss of many hundreds units of infrastructure.
Not hundreds, I am literally shaking in my boot.

Uhhh! I know that the no missiles, spies, and ships rule only applies to nations with a score over 2000. I already said that in my previous post; I was trying to make a point. Apparently, it is not I who struggles with reading comp. Honestly, I am not great at fighting battles, but I will not submit, and I will not tolerate injustice. Also, the flag they want as to fly is not their flag, it is this an ugly flag that says "Armentia" on it for some reason. http://i.imgur.com/uFsfLH7.png
Amentia is latin for madness and that flag is a thing of beauty. You could easily get into updeclare range if you wanted put the fighting back in TFP.

VoC off orange? What's next UPN off purple? GPA off green?

Now dis is one long thread....
I wonder how long this war and shitposting will go on.
Why not 2 months?

Thanks for not arguing that your previous post was not irrelevant. I had started having doubts about the level that can be maintained in this conversation.
Of course the threat needs quotes. This "threat" was your proposal, remember? Your brilliant plan of needing 4 days for 11 of us to get fully militarized in order to attack 3 of your lowest ranking members. You know. The plan that would change the tide of the war, if your friends had not attacked the players you cannot reach.
You still hadn't moved any slots around. You guys were just going to sit on your asses and hope we got bored. We did, so we invited some friends to the party. We told you that plan because we're all painfully aware of how incapable you are of carrying it out. We saw how tiny your warchests were when we beiged you the first time.

No. We've always been a mid-sized to micro alliance. I know you guys wanted to think we had a ton of members though, but you and TEst still had 4x our membership.
Alpha had 34 after the Asgard merge, dropped back to 26 over two months and was back to 34 by April. Kurd's stats stop after that, but Sheepy's start. We had 31 still in June, back down to 26 in August, and now 22. There may have been 35 for a day or two, but I haven't seen it. You are correct about Alpha never hitting 40, but 35 is not really off-base.

So, are you all implying that having full military is as easy for someone with 9 cities and 12,000 infra with someone who has 11 cities and 21,000 infra?
With less than 1500 infra per city, yes I can go full military in 5 days by destroying all my mines and keeping only power plants, commercial buildings and military buildings. My expenses for this military (at war) would be 1.7 million per day. My revenue would be 100,000 per day, not even enough to buy the resources I don't produce because of destroying farms and mines. But yeah, your calculators are right. I could have double points right now.
P.S. Cromwell, that is a big flag at your post. No reason for such an advertisement.
1500 infra per city is plenty to max military (no ships). Those resource deficits are why you're supposed to have a warchest. The 1.7M is supposed to be worth it to you to fight for your alliance, hence the fighting in TPF.
Also the proposed flag in the peace terms is awesome, hardly a huge humiliation.

Sending 100,000 soldiers against 300,000 soldiers 3 times does not kill the 300,000 soldiers. 3 nations with 1,700 points attacking one with 3,000 will make a hole in the water. Anyway, I would really like to see you actually trying this.
You'd be surprised what a double buy over update will do. This is literally what we did to Ace last war, 3 5K nations beat an 8K nation, it's very doable.

-
Ok, I will triple my military increasing it by 200%, get 1300 points in total and 600 military points and go crush on a nation with with 1,285 military points.
If you had max infantry, tanks, and planes (no ships), you would have 1760 score. You could updeclare to 3,080, there are 8 TEst nations below that score. If you and two of your buddies actually wanted to fight, you would be maxed and harpoon one of them with no counter risk, but you aren't, can't, and won't.
-
The alliance title is a bit contradictory, I suppose. The real shame is that we don't (and also didn't) have a particularly strong top tier. Anyway, congratulations on bringing us down 10,000 points so far. Hopefully we'll start to fare better.
Indeed.

I completely agree that nukes are horrible and am taking steps to decrease my supply as we speak...
I noticed another nation had those horrible nukes and NO SPIES! Someone should step in and save the world, spy off the nukes.
Your cities are too fat to not nuke.

If anyone attempts to change this mindset, try growing cactii outside, during winter- in Wisconsin.

Who knew that there were catcii in Wisconsin? It's like having alliances without treaties on Orbis.

Go see if you can get a top 20 alliance to protect you from raids, it'll be tough to survive without that.
-
Did anyone place bets on how long it'd take for Steve to start being all sour on the forums again?
Sour is the wrong word.
-
Damn, that isn't very nice
What about if you win the war, take a large amount of damage but inflict more damage on your opponents than received. Still rolled or is it a case of mutual rolling? I feel like we are exploring something of great value here
I'll leave the dets to the eLawyers, but if you lose the a phase of the war, but win overall, a roll still happened. Victory or not. For example, TEst has rolled and been rolled in a single war way back in Alpha.
-
I don't remember being rolled. I remember taking a lot of damage in a few wars but I also remember winning every war. Can you win a war and be rolled at the same time?
Yes, yes you can.
Name this war too
