Currently, while nukes are moderately expensive, they can be bought within a month depending on prioritization by an alliance. Additionally, unless we plan on there being a nation strength cap, we are going to see nations getting these projects between 500-1700NS.
At the moment we are seeing how this is becoming an issue. While this is considered low/mid-tier at the moment how do you expect the average NS of the world will be in six months' time? How about in one year's time?
As such I believe that we should have the requirements for many projects reevaluated. Do we want to have nations with max military wonders by the time they hit 2k NS and then try to figure out how to change game mechanics in the future to address the bloating of NS that is bound to happen? This honestly should have been addressed sooner.
Nukes are efficient to use against top 5-10% nations only. As nations grow that % may increase, but after a few nukes, you're not worth nuking anymore. I wasn't worth nuking at the end of the Gangbang war. Nukes are a great killer to use on top tier nations. But not all nations are top tier. And not all top tier nations stay top tier after wars. Nukes help with that.
As long as we don't make infra cheaper to rebuy(I've seen that suggested many times), a good war will take down everyone fighting in it.

Is anyone considering the last backup was done 5 days ago? Or are we just assuming the admin can back the game up to whatever second he wants?
IT backups typically happen once a day at a set time. Cheaper IT shops will do weekly backups.
More frequent then daily backups are a pain, because any problem you have gets into your backups rather quickly. Backups also eat a significant chunk of CPU, unless you're cloning SAN LUNS, in which case its 0 overhead.

Women are objects that are either there to be saved, screwed, or pitied because they were raped.
That sums about females in most games. Sometimes they are super hot protagonists, and you zoom out to watch their asses bounce up and down while you're killing orcs or whatever.
How is this news to anyone and why does it need a video?

So you plan on becoming a lolitician.
Taking money from others by force and using the stolen money to enforce your own agendas or the agendas of others is what I consider to be theft.
So, in essence, you wish to become a thief.
Taxation is not theft. We are not alone. If you want to use the road, pay taxes and stfu about it. Want an education? What, you can read and write? Taxes paid for that. We are all in this together, and being "forced" to contribute a portion of our income to the common good, as defined by our elected leaders, is just about as close to perfect as you're going to get.
Taxation is not theft.

Perhaps those who feel the rollback is unfair should take it out in-game on the perceived beneficiaries.

Done. NOT Playing anymore. Paid $$$ and now account is gone.
Hey bro, I'd stick it out. For nation sim games, this is a pretty good one.
Give Sheepy(our beloved coder/admin) a chance to get everything "just right" again.

Hitler wasn't a Communist or Socialist. It's idiotic to say that, and I have not seen one historian argue that in the face of Hitler's established hatred of Bolsheviks, the KPD, and the SPD. Aside from a few loons on the American Right (looking at you, Glenn Beck), no reputable scholar actually equates Nazism with Socialism. The only connection is the name of the ideology, National Socialism. But to take that at face value is to think North Korea is a democracy because the name is the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
If you even bother to talk to Hispanics you would know that many of us - legal immigrants and American citizens of Hispanic descent- have been told by racists at some point to "go back to Mexico" or to generalize us as being "illegals." The use of the term "Illegals" is a well-established codeword for Hispanics as a whole. Pretending otherwise doesn't change that fact. And let's not even go to the fact that building a wall and deporting millions of immigrants is so expensive that most of the same Trump supporters who whine about high taxes will not have the appetite to pay for this project.
Also, people who murder out of hatred ruin this country. People calling racists racist do not. I mean, Dylan Roof does more damage to this country by murdering out of racism than whatever harm a Tumblr-post from a "SJW" does.
So yes, Trump is a race-baiter and a racist. And given the trends of the last two Presidential election - where Obama was able to win without a white majority of the vote - Trump and the GOP are heading to defeat.
Exactly.
Also, the GOP knows they can't get enough "Angry white guys" to win an election, so why double down on that demographic? I know they are doing everything they can to stop young people and minorities from voting, but even so, there just aren't enough "Angry white guys" to win a national election. Open your tent GOP, open it wide. With the right branding, and POLICY SHIFTS, you can win latino voters and be competitive in non-gerrymandered elections.
I'm also disgusted I had to vote for a Bush in your poll. I'd vote for Deez Nutz in the general over Bush, for sure.

I'd want the costs and actions to be carefully analyzed, but I agree with the notion entirely. Defenders should have something to do.

Therefore, Cornerstone declares it shall defend Viridian Entente,
Entirely expected and in keeping with the character of your alliance. I know Cornerstone stands with its friends, come easy dogpile or come certain defeat.

Truly though, if we're gonna be all about political correctness at least understand that so-called "Confederate flag" never was a CSA national flag. It was the battle flag of Tennessee. When an ignorant individual calls others ignorant is creates one helluva dichotomy, doesn't it?
I never used the word flag, so it might be ignorant to accuse me of not understanding which flag is which.

I'm pretty sure Guardian can make short work of a bunch of ignorant rednecks living in the 19th century.

As it stands, the war system is incredibly broken. I was down declared at 1600 ns by a 2100ns nation. There's literally no way I can win a ga or air battle on him as he has two full cities strength on me. This seriously needs to be fixed.
It should really be sorted out. My suggestion, have different percentages of who you can attack in different tiers. At 250 ns it should be as it is now, and decrease as ns gets higher. Like at 1000ns have it +50/-20 out such. Otherwise we'll have later on a 10k point nation declaring on a 7500.
A down-declare in an alliance war is a symptom of being in a weaker alliance. The solution is to call in allies or restructure your alliance so no enemy can afford to downdeclare your entire alliance.
When you're outnumbered 2 or 3 to 1, every attack can be a down declare. In a long war though, it quickly becomes about who stockpiled enough resources. Think 10K gasoline is enough? Its not. So, the weaker nation who can force his attacker to do dogfights to bring down his airforce is using up the attacker's resources. There's more to winning a war then just obtaining superiority against a single opponent. If you lose your battle, but drain his resources more then expected, that's a win.
I don't think its fair to say this system is broken.

Best of luck to you. I fully expect you to save Orbis when TIO comes over with their untold multitudes of teeming communist masses led by the dream walker.
Also, I'll keep an eye out for the Sword of Truth for you.

I really see it more as "adjusting some borders that didn't get drawn the way he'd have liked as the cold war ended and the Soviet Union broke up". I wouldn't expect to see him trying to invade the Baltics, for instance.
If he does move into them, then yes, its an Empire build before our very eyes.

Human greed is a great motivator. It's why capitalism has produced such prosperity.
Ah, conservative thinking. Following the economic ideals of an 18th century economist. "Invisible Hand" is a silly idea.

That is so stupid. I mean, almost every major country in the world (Code word ALMOST) supported slavery at one time or another. America, Britian, France, Russia.....
Im not saying its a good thing. Heck, it was a horrible thing, as Sanders said. However, while it was a horrifying, it happened, as it did evewrywhere else in the world at its time. We adressed it, we fixed our ways. I see nothing else that needs to happen.
I too feel that that apology has been made. Made with the blood of every dead union soldier in the Civil War. And that's a lot of blood. Rivers of it.

Nobody in the GOP 2016 clown car is a serious candidate.
Rand Paul and Jeb Bush are both serious. Rand has a lot of work to do, since no one is sure if he's a libertarian or a conservative. He seems like a libertarian who tries to wear conservative clothes to pander to the religious right to me.

Good luck to Guardian in the future.
