False alarm.
-
In the last few hours I have been receiving income again.
I have done away with my spies but only after my income returned.
-
Checked again, losing a few hundred in cash every turn.
-
Are you guys looking at net revenue at the bottom or the gross revenue at the top?
I ask because I haven't been having any revenue issues and am clocking the amount of revenue net per turn like I should.
Edit for refrence:
Current revenue shows 49217.66 per turn.
Amount received: 49217.48
Net Income $13,222.58 $1,904,051.71
Sitting on 0 or 5,000 for my logins the last 3 days. Costing my nation millions.
Edit: it just dropped from 5,000 to 4,580.62 on the turn change.
-
I'm not getting any money. Stuck on $0 for the last few hours.
The resource page indicates that I should be receiving $12,881 every turn in addition to my resource production.
I'm only receiving the resources.
-
Why is this a shock?
Never said it was.
The rest of your post is equally baseless.

Best Alliance: EoS
Best Alliance Leader: Casey
Worst Alliance Leader: None, they do what they can... some more so than others.
Most Entertaining Character: RedArmy BushMan, Princess Bubblegum, the Guardian insider responsible for the heist
Most Influential Character: Casey. He recruited me to EoS, changing the destiny of Orbis.
Most Disliked Character: Abbas Mehdi the cheat

Calling Saru, this seems like a more appropriate thread. Explain away.
Have you surrendered yet?
-
A guy from our alliance has complained about this same thing happening twice. Could it be anything to do with length of inactivity?
You're right, I think that's what happened in my case.
-
Vanquisher, they're talking about raiding resources and then selling it.
You mean the bulk you get after the 6th immense triumph? Haven't been able to tell, I've been keeping my wars active.
What about the cash from each individual ground attack? That's less for sure.
-
Did they start new nations?
One of my enemies disappeared overnight, as well. Removed from my war history.
I suspect it was deleted by the player rather than banned.
-
Anybody who resorts to ad hominem attacks on my neutrality to imply their opinion is somehow superior (and thus avoid having to actually construct a solid counter-argument to any of my arguments) gets added to my ignore list.
First casualties: Shellhound, Micheal Malone and Prefontaine. Enjoy.
On the balance, wars should be, overall, no better a nation-building option than peace, or the game will become, as I have said, raid or get left behind.
The current system is fine because it allows nations to build their economies and then direct the proceeds of that toward making war, which is the entire point of a nation simulation game. What we are seeing here is a group of players who want to change the game and make war the dominant mechanic.
As Grillick has said, they're entitled to do that, but to resort to claiming a high ground of altruism or to ad hominem attacks that imply players who disagree with their opinions are stupid and/or ignorant just makes them look like arrogant little !@#$s.
Umm... no.
War is the dominant mechanic, whether you want to engage in it or not. And no, selling resources is NOT engaging in war.
If the war component is neutered (damage and profitability) no one will engage in it and no one will buy resources on the market as they won't need them.
War is a must, it drives the game. Without it there really is no point to the economy and the politics.
I'm all for increasing both the risks and rewards attached to raids.
Sheepy is addressing this with the introduction of missiles and nukes soon.
Finding a balance in the looting is the primary concern here: too much and the pacifists moan that they're being disadvantaged and too little and everyone else will stop raiding en mass.
Who will you sell resources to when everyone is "neutral"?
-
You don't win propaganda. You win hearts and minds.
Not according to our propaganda.
-
Bushman, you legend!
Thanks to you we're winning both the war and the propaganda.

Hey, I'm Vanquisher, the leader of the beautiful and industrious nation of Cape Town, right at the southernmost tip of Africa.
I love politics and I won't shy away from war (when it's justified).
My nation is a member of the glorious and mighty Empire of Spades.
Comments? Questions? Threats?

What am I, some kind of mastermind now?
No one is saying that.
Except for you, loudly and frequently.
-
Where is all the spades propaganda? I'm a little sad, since they are doing pretty well right now.
Pretty well?
That's some real propaganda right there.
-
In any case, if there's someone who's distinguished themselves in this war so far, I'd say it's Empire of Spades.
The blitz they pulled off is impressive by anyone's standard, and it's made finding free slots quite difficult for some of us.
Aw-shucks

Purple Power! Purple Power!
Eggplants for the Purple God!

I hope it doesn't come to that.
It just came to that.
... and I just came to that.
