  1. Trying to spy I got this message.  Definitely not on the same network.  Definitely not sending a selfie.

This player has been flagged for using the same network as you. To prevent cheating, you are not allowed to sabotage this nation. For more information on how to become exempt from our restrictions regarding multiple, separate players on the same network, you can learn about Verification here.

  2. I have 60 spies. He has 3. How does this keep happening?  Bug? Exploit? Joke mechanics?

  3. To clarify, would you attack, and then not attack to avoid biege? Or not attack for 3 days and then do attacks for the final 2 to get beige (I don't know what the tactic behind the second way would be

I'm trying to establish whether either scenario is permitted under the rules.

  4. If I declare on another nation but don't intend on making a single attack for 3 of the 5 days would that be deemed war slot filling?

Specifically from the rules: "Declaring war on a nation without the intention of fighting them is punishable by a nation strike and additional punishment for multiple violations" and "An example of behavior violating the rules would be using 'Fortify', to appear to be fighting a war, when in reality the attacker has no intention to fight and win the war."

  5. I get what you're saying. I'm just bitter that luck has such a large part to play.

fwiw had victory come my way under the same circumstances it would not have been sweet and I would have felt sorry for my opponent who up until then had been a decent foe. Losing/winning due to bandwidth is pathetic.

  6. Well done for all missing the point. This isn't an arcade shoot 'em up where internet connection is everything (mine's fine, thanks for asking). It's a turn based browser game and win/lose shouldn't be decided on whether a server is overloaded and which person it lets in first.

Britishdude and I had a good battle. His tactics were sound and he got me into a position where he was one attack away from victory. PM's suggest he's a decent chap too. There's no shame in losing to an opponent that's fighting one other nation whilst I had seven to contend with so drop the infantile git gud remarks.

Perhaps I could have fortified to avoid/postpone the server nonsense but why should I need to? I'd be interest to hear Sheepy's shrug.

Turn changes, we're both frantically hitting refresh as the Politics & Snore logo appears

So I'm looted, as is the AA bank, all because the server chose to let one person in quicker than the other.

    Compensation?

  8. How many times will folk repeat that? The issue, not even why this thread was made and simply said as background, was never that they fought back.

And yet it's in your opening paragraph and repeated throughout.

Pantheon nations took advantage to sneak attack my ships so I would do less damage to them

Instead you sneakily ordered your soldiers to begin their attacks while I talked to you

send orders to their soldiers to sneak attack me

I had points I could have used to hit your nations with 200 ships. Due to the sneak attack I was only able to use 100

I clearly did not sneak attack anybody

    even after your sneak attack

    the sneak attack

It happened as it did, thus sneak attack

it was Pantheon who sneak attacked

I would sneak attack you at update

    allow me to sneak attack

That's a whole lot of whining there about them fighting back.  "Boo hoo, a sneak attack!"  I only took those from the first 2 pages but no doubt there are others littered throughout your tears.

A raider complaining about other people being sneaky.  Delicious irony is delicious.

  9. My reputation has not moved one bit thank you.

I'm new here but I take it from this your reputation has always been utter toilet?  "Boo hoo all I was doing was raiding.  It's NOT FAIR >stamps feet< that people who I raided fought back".

Also, while I'm here I've noticed a typo on Testes page "No, we will not protect your alliance".  A superfluous Y needs to be removed.
