    Not sure this is a necessary addition to the game. Eventually I'd like to add events, at a national, regional, and global level, where things like Food production could be affected, say, on the whole continent of Africa by a drought. Throw in some shocks to the supply/demand to make things more interesting. Perhaps other events as well, like a drug epidemic that increases food consumption (see: Cheetos).

    I actually really like this idea.
