The Optional Defense Pact between Vargen Institution and the King’s Parliament
Vargen Institution and the King’s Parliament agree to the following
1. Maintain a relationship of cordiality with one another
2. Permits the banks and nations of both alliances to freely market their goods and services, including loans, to all nations within both alliances.
3. Permits the banks and nations of both alliances to freely exchange their goods and services, including loans, to all nations within both alliances.
4. Both parties will maintain a market sharing agreement with one another.
5. Both parties will enforce all loans and contracts issued between the nations and banks of both alliances insofar as these loans and contracts are created transparently, in good faith and in accordance with the laws of both alliances, ex post facto implied.
6. Both alliances' governments will seek to ensure that trade and exchange of loans occurs under quid pro quo conditions.
7. In the event that a nation of either of the two alliances fails to pay a legal and transparent debt to the other alliance or to the bank of the other alliance or to a nation of the other alliance, the alliance of the actor who remains in debt will be held accountable for that debt.
8. The King’s Parliament is a bulwark of Democracy, Transparency and Cordiality and is thus the sworn enemy of all Tyrants throughout Orbis. With this in mind, we condemn and declare war upon the Dutch East India Company. They along with the UPN have formed an unholy union.
Like this, the very inception of this hellish cabal and its invasion of the Syndicate, Terminus Est, the Seven Kingdoms and others is nothing short of:
(1) An act of cowardice by the three most potent alliances in Orbis [featuring the BoC] in an effort to beat up upon the rest of the world for sport.
(2) The status quo attempting to dismantle the Syndicare Bloc because it is growing rapidly and thus threatening the hegemoney of UPN and the DEIC.
(3) This is an unprovoked act of massive aggression that has taken place without precedent, merit or transparency.
(4) This is an act of brutality by the Tyrannical Alliances of Orbis to punish the Syndicate for their willingness to become patrons, friends and protectors of Democratic and Communally Managed alliances of Orbis such as our own.
(5) The UPN’s initial casus belli is pure rubbish.
We, the King’s Parliament are a Constitutional Parliamentary Democracy and will forever stand in the defense of transparent alliances that represent the will of their members and strive for civil discourse throughout Orbis. We highly encourage all nations and alliances to take up the sword against these diabolical monstrosities and to embargo and lobby against them with every opportunity that presents itself.

The Constitution of the King's Parliament
Article I: The Holy Office of King serves as the executive of the King’s Parliament. Such an Office is a hereditary Office passed from one King to the next. The King is responsible for appointing Lords to the House of Lords and overseeing the offices of the Lords. The King may dismiss and appoint Lords at will and may perform any of the duties of His Lords. The King is the chief justice, diplomat, treasurer and military officer within the alliance and may supersede any of his Lords in their official roles; although, cannot supersede an Act of Parliament which overrides his veto with a 2/3s majority
.
Article II: The House of Lords is the Upper House of the Parliament. Their will at all times be 5 Lords: The Lord of the Exchequer, The Lord of Foreign Affairs, The Lord of War, The Lord of Jurisprudence and The Lord of Recruitment. The Lords are appointed and dismissed at the will of the King. Lords will be addressed as Lord [Name] or His/Her Lordship.
Article III: The House of Commons is the Lower House of the Parliament. Their will at all times be 5 Members of Parliament within the House of Commons which will serve as Junior officers of the corresponding Lords of Exchequer, War, Foreign Affairs, Jurisprudence and Recruitment. The Members of Parliament of the House of Commons will be elected by the Rabble. All of the Rabble will elect from among themselves Members of Parliament for each office every May within Orbis’s date system. If a Member of the House of Commons leaves his post early, then a by-election is held immediately to find his replacement. The King and Lords may not vote in such elections nor may the King or Lords dismiss or appoint a Member of Parliament under any circumstances.
Article IV: The default of the treasury is that of a tax-less treasury funded solely upon interest and fines collected. Only the Parliament may issue a motion for a tax to be collected. The motion must be carried by a simple majority as all other motions must in order to become Acts of Parliament. All Acts of Taxation shall expire on the first day of January each year within Orbis’s date system at which time, the tax rate shall return to 0% until the Parliament issues a new Act which levies taxation.
Article V: Parliamentary Procedure will be conducted as a current Lord or Commons officer will post an announcement titled “Motion for Act of Parliament #.†The numeric system should be sequential so the first Motion in alliance would be 1 and the 11th would be 11. If the previous Motion for an Act of Parliament was number 5 then this next Motion would be number 6. The rest of the announcement should be a draft of the Act proposed which the Lord or Commons officer wishes to pass. The question is then open to all members of the alliance to debate within the announcement tab until the King or the Lord of Jurisprudence calls for a vote. After this time, no one may post arguments or comments under the announcements other than Parliamentarians from the Houses of Lords and Commons which comment “Yes†or “No†which would indicate their vote in affirmation or in opposition to the Motion in question. Simple majority wins. The King has veto power but may be overruled by a 2/3s majority of Parliament. No non – parliamentarians may vote or comment following the call for a vote within a motion. The King or Lord of Jurisprudence will set a clear duration of time for voting before the polls close when he announces that it is time to vote. Only the King or a Parliamentarian may issue a Motion for an Act but even a King cannot vote within the Parliament for or against any Motion.
Article VI: All nations within the alliance of the King’s Parliament must defend allies within their own war ranges when such allies are attacked by a foreign aggressor and must take part in any military conflicts which the King orders a state to engage within for any reason whatsoever. Likewise, all nations within the alliance of the King’s Parliament are to always be prepared for war against any foe. Not being prepared for a conflict is an insufficient reason to fail to enter a conflict.
Article VII: The Lord of the Exchequer is responsible for managing the King’s Treasury.
Article VIII: The Lord of Foreign Ministry is responsible for coordinating relationships between the King’s Parliament and the other nations and alliances of Orbis.
Article IX: The Lord of Enlistment is responsible bringing new nations into the King’s Parliament, vetting them and getting them acclimated to the new environment accordingly.Article X: The Lord of Jurisprudence is responsible for ensuring that the Constitution of the King’s Parliament is being followed to the letter.
Article XI: The Lord of War is responsible for ensuring that all states are adequately prepared for war as well as being responsible for coordinating all war efforts which the King’s Parliament may become involved.
Article XII: Those inactive for 5 days or more may be exiled from the alliance without due process by the His Majesty the King or any of His Lords.Article XIII: The House of Commons may issue any statutory law which does not directly violate this constitution.
Article XIV: The King assumes Dictatorial Powers for duration of 50 RL days when the Parliament votes to grant him such powers to address concerns of the alliance.
TL;DR
The King's Parliament is built upon democratic beliefs and this constitution secures a parliamentary form of democracy for all our members.

in Game Suggestions

Include territories in this game. Gaining territories means bonuses in resource production etc. This will add more to the politics and war side for this game, since alliances will want to gain more territory so that they could get more resources.
Each alliance start with a set amount of territory, and they cannot be wiped off the map.
Just an idea that I have.
