To my (probably) flawed knowledge, tanks, aircraft, and ships do not seize money.
Equpping your soldiers with munitions will not increase the maximum loot. You should only equip them with munitions if the enemy has a sizeable ground force. -
I've been looking forward to wiping the slate clean for a while now.
Welp. Here it is.
4th Of July, America themed nation.https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=316939
Looking forward to this ratio. -
Honestly though, the necroposting gets on my nerves,

Not sure if this should go in Quality of Life suggestions, but I'm gonna play it safe and post here, move if you must.
The premise of this idea is to allow for auto-trading of resources off of the market. So like, automatically buying 70 coal per turn from the lowest seller, automatically selling 800 steel per day to the highest bidder, so and so.My biggest concern would be servers. I'm not very sure if processing multiple auto-transactions would overload the servers too much.
I do feel like this could be useful for when you use high amounts of a specific resource, and don't have the time (or immediately available money) to mass-purchase. So what do you guys think? Alright idea? Or another spew of slobber that should have stayed shut in my head. -

Seems to be an established alliance. Almost 2 years, good performance.
Unless I'm missing something.

Oops, no, I meant @Coffee Man Coffee. Meant to quote the original post, sorry about that.
It’s alright, was suspicious because Locutus detected me as a multi/reroll in FSO, so I thought ‘Woodstock’ had a bad rep when you pointed out ban evasion.

Bounty Posted
You have successfully posted a bounty worth $4,206,969 on the nation of Not The Ottoman Empire. You will receive a notification once the bounty has been claimed.
Ah. How fortunate of me to not be given a bounty for my absolute war crime of an alliance.
...Yeah, I'm DEFINITELY getting bounty'd for this.
Irony is, we're both nations with Woodstock in the leader title.

a war xp mechanic like Hoi4 would be cool. nations with more wars have better effcicnncy.
I don't really get it.
What purpose would the XP serve?
Would it be losable?
Quite vague, honestly.

Fair. I suppose I more meant usage similar to food and resources used for power. Like a "maintenance" use.
I wouldn't say steel and aluminum are necessarily "war" resources. You wouldn't consider Food to be a war resource, would you?
On the actual topic; I'd think that existing power plants would sufficiently supply electric heating and not require seperate resources to prevent people from freezing to death.

You could have moon rover give lunarium, and with enough lunarium, you can construct a statue in your capital that shows up as an award and boosts raw resource production in the capital by 50%
I understand the naivity, but adding a new resource that serves a singular purpose (food is food so dont bring that up, and every resource is used in projects) is frankly terrible. A 50% boost is pretty significant, and given the context of it being from a statue, it doesn't make sense at ALL. I've given my fair share of stupid ideas, if not more, but Mars Rovers themselves should really just be ceremonial at best, like Moon Landing. And why would the Moon have different resources than on Orbis/Earth? I understand that this game isnt supposed to be all-the-realistic but...

Nitpick: Gasoline resource reserves don't designate the civilian access to gasoline. It's more or less a wartime military reserve.
-
1. What purpose would it serve? We already have food.
2. Is it a resource? A project? A miscellaneous feature?
3. How much would be produced? How much would it cost? Would there be a hard cap?
Too much left to speculation, if it would even serve a good purpose to begin with.
-
Alternatively, we could changeup the entire context and give it a valid reason to be cheaper?
ie: swap out for Resource Concern & Engineering project that is rather cheap intitially (but still requires effort to build)
It could work in a successory manner to resource production center where it's benefits gradually reduce as your city count grows, and along with it your resource production (or at least it should).
ie.
C1 = 50% Boost (ballsy to get that much infra)
C3 = 25% Boost
C5 = 20% Boost
C7 = 15% Boost
C10 = 10% Boost
C15 = 7% Boost
C16 = 5% boost
C20 = 3% boost
C25 = 1% Boost
C30 = 0.75% Boost
C35 = 0.5% Boost
C39 = 0.1% Boost
Ceases to function following C39
A possible cost could be
150 of iron, oil, bauxite, coal, and lead
$500,000
I remember people noting to the want to reduce the gap between whales, as well as wanting a project that wouldn't be super whale beneficial, so I thought that this could be a good project.
Note: deflation of the rates could be in order.

Alright, first that is way too cheap - even UP costs more than that. Secondly, replacing TelCom with Space Program is a bad idea, as the purpose of TelCom was to be a benefit for whales, not for new players, hence the $500m cost of it.
This is a good idea, but this game is not meant for space units and what not as whales would be the only ones using them, because TelCom and Space Program is too expensive for a C5 for instance, and they would have to be used only in other nations with the project, or you get more things boosting whales which is bad for the game.
You do make a valid point with the naiveity of the idea, and it's cost, But I would believe it's important to consider things such as total cost pileup, such as the costs of preceding projects. One could also simply raise the resource and monetary costs. But your point is still good nonetheless.
I also do not intend to result in this having space units, which is why I made a flat resource production increase in rate instead.

So I saw this topic while being bored.
And so I thought; "Maybe this could actually work."
So here's the plan:
"Asteroid Mining Project is a national project that allows your nation to mine passing asteroids for various materials. It provides a 15% (or lower) boost in production of your available raw resources, excluding uranium (food is arguably not a raw resource but simply food). It requires Resource Production Center and Telecommunications Satellite to build."
COST: $22,500,000 Money
5,000 of every resource (Excluding credits and food for obvious reasons)
OPTIONAL: Requires Moon Landing to build as well (Moon Landing IS a decorative project but this could maybe give it some usage as a gateway
Telecom. Sat. replaced with Space Program thanks to Telcom's exhorbant cost.
Resource cost lowered down to 1,000-2,500 per resource.
Monetary cost reduced to $20,000,000
All criticism welcome.
I don't think this is in the right (sub-)forum, If possible, can it be moved?
