Breaking the News
Coming back from a 2 year absence has been an interesting experience. In many ways, the game hasn’t changed much, many of the same old alliances still milling about long past their prime. But some things have, and a few of them not for the better.
One of the more egregious alterations to the rules of engagement is the concept that “news reporters” can freely leak internal alliance communications without consequences.
The idea that one can separate out their positions as members, government and leaders from their positions as “news reporters” is frankly ridiculous. Leaking is a hostile action. You are welcome to do it, but you should expect a hostile response.
Some might say, well if you retaliate, if you target these people for their reports, are you not encouraging them to leak more? And that question itself reveals the farce that is “objectivity” or “neutrality” in news.
Which brings me to Lysander. Calling Lysander a reporter would be generous. Lysander is the Buzzfeed of Orbis.
More importantly he is a very sensitive boy. Express your distaste with his methods? Criticize RON? He’ll immediately throw out any pretence of being a reporter. Suddenly he’s happy to post the most menial logs to ghost ping your government, all because you criticised his methods.
I let you go once Lysander when you were in IoM. I prioritised the big picture politics and allowed you to live. But this is how this shit continues to slide. Everyone expects the pragmatic move, the big picture shit. But hey, the game is boring and drama-free right now, and I'm petty af.

A String of Failures
Lysander may be the cause of this rolling, but frankly House Stark, you have this shit coming. You promoted him. Why?Very good run so far. Got you dropped by Guardian, the alliance notorious for their loyalty and unwillingness to cut allies. Signed you Black Skies (oh we are hitting you too btw), a truly amazing path to entering the vibrant world of micro politics. Now he’s getting you rolled. He’s been FA head for what 10 minutes?
All this after pushing ridiculous terms on alliances you can’t defeat on your own, not considering for a moment the same harsh standards could have been applied to you.
You continue to make amazingly obtuse FA blunders one after the other. You are a 7 year old alliance, how have you not figured this shit out yet.

this post isn't true and isn't accurate yes we are taking mass damages from NUKE TURRET nano nuking our low tier for almost two weeks now the damages resulted in750m in damages to us and NCR taking smt near 300m , this doesn't reduce the shame in such thing but this is what happened , therefore the alliance is coordinating everyone to c10+ city tiers
2-A coup against demon lord
there is no such thing however we did find a low IA member that was helping alan in the making of "Spicy News" against TFK
that member was kicked and his nation will be leveled once he goes out of VM .

The Introduction
It is common knowledge, at least among those who actually have any in the first place, that many players & alliances tend to have an inflated sense of power, influence, information, etc. It is commonplace for these alliances to grow over time - ultimately finding themselves in a position where they have a decent # of players. They do this by representing a front of competence, and grandiose promises. These types of alliances (of which there are many) will pine on and on about caring for members and operating with their best interests at heart...sadly...this is seldom the case. My personal favorite example of this is whenever alliances continue to buy cities for their members past c11 without UP; c16+ without AUP; and sometimes even c21+ without MUP. This is as a result of both incompetence, as well as lack of care for members as these types of practices not only waste money for everyone involved, but dig players into a whole that they generally cannot dig themselves out of.
Yungie
This is a tale of Yungie - the "Director of Defense" of United Commerce Republic .
Once upon a time, a meager Raider - The Boogeyman - was searching for targets throughout Orbis. You see, Mr. Boogeyman harbors no ill will towards any of his fellow inhabitants. In fact there is honor in war. Whether it is when he lost ~240mil forgetting to move his safekeep, or whenever receiving SOLID counters...Mr. Boogeyman is only ever happy to see those who are competent thrive.
However...there are times when certain alliances practically paint a target on their back; due to lacking the basic fundamentals of what it takes to ensure that they do not become a target for those ready to seize opportunities in the harsh world we live in.
After a solid week or two of raiding UCR, Mr. Boogeyman was finally winding down with his raids as picking on those less fortunate for too long is shameful. Yungie, the DiReCtOr oF dEfEnSe, did his absolute best via two rounds of counters to protect the members he cares SO much for -.-
This is how it unfolded.
The Timeline
Mr. Boogeyman (Thomas Eichhorst), reached out to Yungie (Baddest) hoping to secure peace following another round of successful pillaging of UCR's members. Sadly, Mr. Boogeyman did make the mistake of writing ear instead of war.
Yungie accepts peace, after Mr. Boogeyman explains that with 12 MAPs stacked Yungie will lose many aircraft for no reason.
Yungie tells Mr. Boogeyman that the site is not loading for him.
Mr. Boogeyman explains that he will have to continue with the airstrikes before the next turn change.
In good faith, Mr. Boogeyman informs Yungie that there is about an hour until turn change...before assuming that Yungie is asleep - deciding to honor the peace that was offered. Yungie, being wise beyond measure, decides to renege on his word...the only thing a man has. Sharing the loot from the war, clearly a MASSIVE blow has been dealt to Mr. Boogeyman.

The Conclusion
Do not be like Yungie. If you are a Micro/Nano, do not have government like Yungie. In his 1 year+ in the game, throughout ALL of his wars he has a net profit of 11mil. Yet here he is as Head MA for UCR. Within 1-2 weeks a SINGLE nation was able to dumpster 8 of his members. On top of that, he is a proven liar...not to mention bad at his ONLY job.
In a game like PnW, respect and reliability are perhaps the only things that truly matter. Once you have proven that your word means nothing, and that your only credentials come from a ill-founded Ego; there is no hope.
