I disagree. This doesn't do anything except bring more attention to the fact that they had widespread cheating in their alliance. No one is going to believe their innocence or guilt based on this topic since, as saeton mentioned, this is exactly what you'd see from someone guilty. I am not saying that this makes them guilty or that I think they are, because frankly, I have no clue, but they would have been better off simply staying silent and answering any questions they received in private.
Of course they probably had another reason for making this topic as well...

When it comes to military (or really any kind of) technology, the general rule is that the cooler it looks, the worse it performs.
Japan's robot will look like something out of Pacific Rim, and the United State's robot will look like an autonomous junkyard. After the match, Japan's robot will be an actual junkyard, and America's robot will be getting all the hot robot babes.
I doubt it, since all the hot robot babes are Japanese. I think the more likely aftermath is that all the hot robot babes will be crying over the mangled corpse of Japan bot and Ameribot will have to go home alone...

Clearly it did need to be stated based on the people in this thread somehow expecting us to pull a numeric victory out of our asses as opposed to simply performing optimally and considering that a victory.

It's impossible to win against a rogue in the sense that a well prepared rogue will almost ALWAYS do more damage than he receives if for no other reason that he can spread his attacks out on more expensive infrastructure, but other reasons as well.
Did this even need to be stated? Anyone with a minimal knowledge of math should be able to figure this out...
We're doing the best we can in a situation that can't really be a victory in the normal sense of the word just because of what it is. I am perfectly willing to admit that we don't have magic powers.

Well the war isn't really THAT going on anymore...I mean there are what, 2 alliances left in it? and SK has lost most of what they have to lose, meaning that the rate of loss is much slower than it would have been earlier on. No what we need is a new war involving people that were not in the last war. I think VOC should volunteer and attack GPA for the good of the environment

I think the next war will start when someone gives somebody else a reason to go to war with them.
I think it'll start when someone feels they have the upper hand and then decides to fabricate a reason to go to war against someone else
