I view the merger as a win-win we both combine our strength to create a stronger alliance more that is more influential. As much as I enjoyed the tight-knit community of TLE, I do like the prospects of a bigger community and stronger alliance that is ultimately better for both parties.

The leader of The Galactic Empire, “Mac” has made it clear multiple times that he is not capable of leading anything. Mac has been couped manytimes already due to his failure in leadership. A leader who blocks people who leaves, a leader who attacks people to force them to join an alliance, and most of all, a leader that does not know what he is doing.

Mac has forced nations to submit to his will, accepting 100/100% tax brackets as a “punishment” multiple times Mac has shown that he is close minded about a lot of things. If you try to reason with Mac you will get blocked.

Recently, mac has been giving directives to launch attacks at targets found especially to provoke The Elites, Moms Friendly Robot Company, The Grand Federation and Western republic. The Galactic Empire attacked Western Unions’s allies multiple times in an attempt to provoke them. Many raids have been committed against these alliances and enough is enough.

This, itself can be seen as a declaration of war by them.

We are sorry for everything that will come of this action to the members who have done nothing, but this is Mac’s doing. We suggest that all innocent members of The Galactic Empire leave to be safe from further attacks.

Even after all of this, a man can only expect a block from Mac. This is what he has done multiple times, and this is what we are trying to make him stop. He is not unstoppable, he is in a place, he is below and above some people.

Coming from his founding member Commo, Mac was not always like this crazy, although he looks nice while you’re with him he will quickly switch to a crazy man if you leave him. 

Mac holds grudges for very long and has also been trying to poach members from Western Republic and to stop them from joining.

There have been many dramas that have included Mac over the course of his reign of terror. Today we show him that he isn't untouchable and his bullying will come to an end.

As of this moment The Elites, The Grand Federation, Moms Friendly Robot Company & Western Union officially declare war on The Galactic Empire.

I’ve come more than a long ways from when I first started this game. I was just some teenager living with my grandparents, barely surviving. In the 4 years I’ve been playing this game, I’ve long since moved out, across the country to be exact, bought a house, learned new work skills, and now have a fiancé. I never would’ve thought it’d be this far.

Gosh the amount of y’all that I’ve met and made friends with is more than I’ve realized. It’s thanks to some that I’m still here today tbh, not this game but alive. Through all the ups and downs they never left my side. Some I barely talk to now, some are still a day to day chat, but nonetheless, still my friends.

Accomplishments? PnW? Do they even go hand in hand? 😂😂 I’ve been in several big name alliances: BK, Rose, Fark, and the ones I’ve led: Project Freelancer, Sunray 1-1 (2018 edition, the OG), The Redgiment, Sunray 1-1 (new), Sunray Victoria, and The Hive. Each one was treated like my baby until the end.

Sadness isn’t a thing I would think to show when leaving this game but, I will truly miss you all, even the ones I don’t care too much for. Who knows, I may be back, may not, depends on how I feel in the future, but until that day comes, farewell Orbis.

Odyssey is responsible BECAUSE the banking agreement we were presented told us that Odyssey was backing the bank. Odyssey members were the ones who gave Poseidon access to the funds, (understandably they were also lied to about what was happening) but it still comes down to straight up negligence. TLE has EVERY right to demand repayment of the funds.

This war is more about principle than anything else though. You can't screw over this many people and then just expect everyone to be fine with it. Poseidon is the criminal, no one is doubting that, but it was Gringotts policies and Odyssey's lack of oversight that allowed this to take place.

You really think we gave this bank the bulk of our holdings? It was a small investment, but one we are not OK with just letting go. We were promised safe keeping. We were told the bank was backed by alliances we thought knew better. We also are not the only ones who got screwed over. 

This is about principle. The monetary loss sucks, sure... and we certainly still want it returned, but this is to avenge everyone who lost money by placing their trust in the bank's safe keeping policies.

Atlan has been trying to make out this was a loan owed to TLE which is what the pretext I found out about it. This is what I agreed to, which if it was a loan I would have seen the payment through. As this was found out to be just a safe keeping they put in at their own liability like all of us to Gringotts bank. They proceeded not to go after Poseidon himself but Odyssey who was also left finically out of pocket and Atlan expected Odyssey members to cover the cost of their members safe keeps. To be clear we were told this was a loan given to our alliance and it was not. The money being sought was a safekeeping bulk payment we never saw sent to Gringotts bank that Posiedon has took Odyseey was lied to about the nature of the funds which is why we agreed to pay them back. Once it was revealed there was no loan and it was just around 3bn that Poseidon took and deposited into Almighty bank  when he stole it then and only then did we refuse to pay something we never took and were lied to about the nature of. 

 

All of this was over 3.3bn considering we had lost over 20bn how is this just cause. This 3bn our alliance was never saw or responsible for.

 

All of this was lie to get us to cover something we had no dealings with. Furthermore no responsibility has been taken by the leader of Atlan who absolutely gave 3 billion dollars to someone who then took off with it. No accountability to TLE leader who lost 3 billion dollars in his groups money.

And he came stated that first off he was going to attack our alliance instead of the person who actually took the money?

Why not just go on 100% tax in the first place than having to rebuild and waste resources on war?

 

TL;DR - Odyssey Recognises war with TLE over an unjust war.

Sad part is we only hit Gringotts bank staff the first time, left Odyssey alone. They agreed to pay us back in payments for peace, then defaulted and referred to spanky for FA.

 

 

TL;DR The Lost Empire had to get their tridents out and stab Odyssey. (Again)

Some of you may have heard by now but our beloved friend and comrade RedArmy has passed away this weekend. He died from complications from heart surgery, he was 33. Those who knew him already know this, but he was one of the kindest souls you'll ever meet. He would do anything for anybody, including driving 8 hours across the country to pick up another alliance member who was going through some really rough times, and helping them secure a place to live. Although we've only been playing this game together for 4-5 years, he ended up becoming like a brother to me, and to most of ASM. He was someone who would always listen to you, and help guide you through whatever rough patch you were going through. He was so genuine in an era where that doesn't exist.  We went on an ASM camping trip last year, and it was a blast, except our first night camping we were crushed during Guns & Roses, and 3/4 of ASM's gov't was off in the woods drinking, out of cell service. Red was the only one who had cell service and when he got the notifications he promptly turned the phone off, and casually mentioned it to me a few hours later... deep into inebriation.  Red was one of the most selfless people I've ever met, and that I will ever meet. He constantly gave others everything he had, whether it was emotionally, physically or even financially. He kept nothing for himself. This was true even in death. With his last dying breath he was able to hold on long enough to make it possible to donate several organs so that others could live. 

ASM will never be the same. He was the bedrock of our community, the glue that held a bunch of political stalwarts from delving into chaos every waking moment. There aren't enough kind words I can say about Red. Please pour one out for our fallen brother. We are heartbroken. 

If you are interested there is a gofundme for his family, i've posted it in ASM's discord server. In the interim I have taken over leadership of ASM. 

See you on the other side brother. Rest easy. Love Yinz.

Alternatives:

1. Buffing missiles / nukes (e.g. have the damage scale with cities, so they don't become increasingly irrelevant at higher city counts)
2. Changing blockade mechanics so that there are more options to avoid running out of funds
3. Allow utter failures to inflict at least some damage to infra

I feel you are right in wanting to nerf baseball. See theoretically you could get infinite money from baseball. once you play 250 games the money you make from baseball with fully maxed stats decreased a lot but is still a lot. So IN theory if a player had the time and ablity along with another player and Used the tool to help them and clicked every second 24 hours straight they could make over 200 mil a day. Of course that is impossible because it would require 24 hours staying awake from 2 people and clicking every second for 24 hours but the fact that could happen should not stay. I think instead of capping the amount you make from it. Cap the games you can play per day to like 250 or 300 or 500. Its more realistic as how you actually play that many games in a day and solves a problem

I actually believed this

So I started a war on a nation https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=7646 and forgot to attack them and I got 12 maps.  My current mmr is 0 0 5 0 so I did airstrikes but for some reason I was able to do 4 airstrikes even though that should not be possible considering it takes 4 maps per airstrike and you can only have 12 maps which is what I had. Not sure why this happened it just did not register me using maps for one not sure if this is a bug or server issue.
