Sometimes there is a chance when I am trying to defeat a nation, it doesn't actually defeat them, and I either have to wait until the war expires or let the opponent defeat me. This can get frustrating especially if it is constant.

Even if you switched your color in the last 5 days but are on beige, i think you should be allowed to switch off it because your forced on beige when you lose a war and if you want to declare another you have to wait until your timer is up.
