  1. If the game gets more money via donations than it needs to pay server costs and continued development, it might be a good idea for Sheepy to actually hire an artist to do work for all the pictures in PW (for improvements, military units etc), instead of using the generic fair-use images that it currently does.

  2. It's the natural progression of war - people use the most effective options in war.

P.S. There is a project that has a chance at thwarting missiles, which is bound to become commonplace one day, too.

I'll post war stats from my wars when peace is declared. Hopefully I'll be able to get up to at least a dozen wars by then! ^_^

Really, you're pulling the "realism" argument? I'm just saying that war with soldiers and tanks attacking, aircraft bombing, ships blockading, is INTERESTING. Throwing missiles and nukes at each other to see who has the biggest pile of rubble left when it's over - is lame, even if it is realistic.

  3. Cheaters deserve no second chances. Ban them.

But when you think about it, these are people who feel they need to cheat in an obscure text-based browser game with less than 2,0000 active members, I think their lives are probably punishment enough.

*goes back to planning the exact money and resource cost of my next city and improvements*

  4. I'd support this, If destroying improvements had a 1/1000 chance :3

What would be better is if a Spy attack on an Improvement did not destroy it, but disrupted production for a day or so, ie "Your Spies detonated a bomb at the Lead Mine, it will be a few days before it is back to full production". Reminds of how strategic bombings were used in WWII, the object wasn't to destroy production (that wasn't possible) but merely to disrupt/suppress it so it took longer for Tanks/Planes/ammo to be manufactured.
