I just got a warning for "nazism" while trying to prove the similarities in another person's post to nazi symbols.
This kinda hurts my brain.
You posted something that violates the rules. Your reason for posting it is irrelevant. It's that simple.

This thread has gone on long enough. This is a role play forum, not a debate forum. It's meant to role play as fictional leaders of fictional nations in this fictional world. We understand that there are players who are offended by images and likenesses that they associate with Nazi Germany. Actual Nazi imagery which is associated worldwide with Nazism, such as the swastika, is forbidden here. That does not mean that every image used which may have had affiliation to Nazi Germany is forbidden. Images and posts which strictly pertain to Nazi Germany, as well as those which promote Nazism, genocide, and so forth will be dealt with by the mod team. What is and isn't deemed offensive or within the boundaries of what's acceptable is at the discretion of the mod team. We will not continue to debate the merits of other instances in which the swastika, eagle, and other images have been used outside of Nazi Germany. This was decided months ago by Sheepy and it has not changed.
Role playing as a German nation and/or alliance is not against the rules. Likenesses to a Nazi party, without expressly using the swastika, images of Hitler, images or posts pertaining to genocide, and promoting Nazism is not against the rules. While this may not satisfy everyone, we remind you again that this is a nation simulation game. In the history of the real world, many nations have been guilty of acts that various players will take offense to. This does not mean we will begin to outlaw everything that individuals find offensive. We will monitor distasteful content and deal with it at our own discretion.

Discussion of cheating has gone on long enough. That's a grossly out-of-character designation that can be discussed elsewhere. We allow quite a bit of leniency with crossing the line between IC and OOC, but this is a RP forum and that discussion is too far beyond the line.

Oh come on man, Ansom is one of my best friends, we just ate dinner together and insulted each other all night. So this really isn't necessary. Also id like to request that this thread be locked.
Only a topic starter can request a thread lock. Even then, it's not guaranteed to be granted. It's circumstantial. As an aside, we moderate the forums. It's not our place to know your friendships outside of this forum. All that's relevant is is the content of forum posts. If you have an issue with a moderator decision, address it with Sheepy privately. Your comment in regards to a warn is considered a rule violation and can result in a warn, in itself.
