Mensa Attacking UPN Protectorates

Let me mention that attacking the protectorates of an alliance you're at war with, when they have shown their desire not to get involved in the war, is extremely low, but here we are, the strong do what they can and the weak do what they must.

That said, if it were simply a matter of Mensa attacking UPN protectorates, that could be deplored by itself. UPN protectorates attempting to defect to Mensa to avoid getting rolled is worse, and the cherry on top is Robster attacking VI. People here apparently have no notion that if you're losing, you let your enemy commit the atrocities because your own "response" has no military or strategic value.

And for that matter, UPN just got passed by VE in score, and UPN has taken 33% damage within the first 6 days of the war.

Or you could read what was said instead of jumping to conclusions.

This is a good life lesson for you guys. Its not the size of the dog in the fight its the Size of the fight in the dog.

Mensa HQ & Allies showing why we aren't #1 on the Leaderboards but #1 in your hearts.

Wow, so much crybabying in this thread. If you don't want your protectorates to get entangled in a war, do better at starting and executing wars. If you don't want to get entangled in the wars of your protector, don't pick one likely to be involved in every single future major war. Join a bloc led by the #1 aa and it isn't all gravy train? Shocking. At least the members of the SALUS bloc seem to realize they picked a horse and lost the bet, and they now wisely refuse to bet again on the same horse.

If they haven't already, at some point UPN will realize they got hosed by VE and that this is the real story of this war. Despite signing a treaty immediately before the war, VE has elected the path of absolute most minimal engagement possible. I can't imagine they are upset that their chief rival for #1 aa is getting pulled down and beaten like a bitey donkey - with no real risk of loss to VE.

To note, one Trident nation raided one Mensa nation and dealt 0 damage. Are you seriously taking this as an excuse to raid UPN's entire protectorate bloc?

Mensa's problem is that they generally have no concept of non-combatants and for them, the game is divided into people they can get away with hitting now and people they can get away with hitting later. This doesn't bode well for the long-term, and you are hitting GPA as well.

I used to wonder why inst baby did not like MENSA. Really because he thought he understood the game. However, all his dumb predictions have been wrong.

This is not because MENSA made them wrong it just embodies what he does not get.

MENSA, by the way, is not hard to figure out. It is fiercely loyal to its allies in offense and defense and will fight hard against its foes. It does not like being lied to or stabbed in the back.

I am pretty positive that any UPN protectorate could have said at the beginning of the war "hey, what UPN did is wrong and we are leaving them." MENSA would have left them alone.

By the way inst didn't you include the protectorates in your "reserves" when you did the math? I can to go look. If so then foes that put them on a "side" even in your mind?

In our defense I did make an inquiry to whether or not we should leave upn. Though we aren't a democracy, all of our members opinions do have value. Proof of that came when we did stay with upn. Too many of the members were worried about it negatively effecting our image.
