1. 1. Where are you on the political spectrum?

Before I make my vote, could we find the universal definitions of the whole Left-Right paradigm? I have a feeling many do not know or they play into a lot of assumptions about what constitutes the Left and/or Right. Many may associate Conservative with Right/Liberal for Left.

I assume people believe:

Right = Greedy, Rich, Selfish, Corporate, Capitalist, Conservative Bastards with Guns.

Left = Socialist, Tree Hugging, Liberal, High Taxing, Wealth Distributing Gits with Central Planning Committees.

Centrist = Politically dis-satisfied Assclowns who vote for who is going to win, not for who best represents them.

If you have anything to add, change or whatnot, lets find the best definitions as a community.

Far Right: Fascists/fascism sympathizers, NRx/"Alt-Right"

Right: Tea Party, Right-Wing Libertarians, any sort of Nationalist movement

Center-Right: American Republicans

Center: Undecided/Moderates, Left-Wing Libertarians

Center-Left: American Democrats

Left: Socialists, Social Democrats, Green parties

Far Left: Marxists, Communists, Anarchists

There's probably a lot of bias in favor of American politics within this list but it's what I adhere to. inb4 euros rip me up for calling American Democrats anything short of Center-Right.

I guess I will do mine then. I only made a general assumption based on typicals when I initially made my first post.

The more freedom people have, the more Left leaning people are. The more Authoritarian/Totalitarian people demand, the more Right leaning. Liberalism is not a dirty word to the world. All it means is seeking out free, open choices for the individual. Originally, to be a Conservative meant to stand with the Crown, or the Status Quo. American Forefathers were Classical Liberals, seeking out free choices without everything requiring the Government consent of the Crown. Centrism is loking for a balance, which fluctuates rapidly and is constantly changing with, sadly, media interests in my point of view.

So, for humors sake:

Far Right: Communists, Strict Monarchies, Fascists, Joe Biden, Rick Santorum

Right: Democrats, Republicans, Socialists, Bernie Sanders

Center-Right: Tea Party Republicans, Blue Democrats, Constitutionalists with an agenda, Rand Paul

Center: Green, Pot Party, Reformists, George Takei

Center-Left: Constitutionalists without an agenda, Gary Johnson

Left: Libertarians, Paulbots

Far Left: Anarchists, Lysander Spooner, Samuel Edward Konkin III

I am about as centrist as you get. Every political quiz I take I am exactly split between democrat and republican. My top candidates' parties are in order: Democrat, Republican, Democrat, Republican, etc. I am so centrist that I took multiple quizzes with my polar opposite beliefs and got centrist again 0.o

Social democrats and greens belong to center-left, not left, as some people believe.

Notice how left-wingers are the majority on P&W.

Maybe because right-wingers lack the knowledge, maturity, and intelligence to play a nation simulator game!

It's true. Sometimes I forget what the buttons do and accidentally declare war on everyone in an alliance within my war range.

Old habits die hard I guess.

(I should mention for Roz Wei's sake that I'm just joking about the alliance invading thing.)

Haha yeah good idea, if that threat got caught by Rozalia you'd have half of Orbis on you.

Left = Crazy government powered bureaucrats who want to control everyone else because they can't control themselves.

Right = Crazy government powered corporate bureaucrats who want to control everyone else because they can't control themselves.

Center = Crazy corporate bureaucrats who can't decide if they want to hand all power to the government in the open or hide it behind a facade of big business.

Hmmm...not sure where to put myself. I generally have conservative values, but I believe the government should stay the hell out of most religious social issues completely. I'm a far right fiscal capitalist...but when it comes to social issues I'd generally prefer to have issues not be mandated by government, and allow churches and local governments to govern themselves in these areas. So somewhere between a Libertarian and an Anarchist I guess?

Or maybe it's because left wingers are primarily from America and Britain, P&W's largest audiences.

!@#$ Harper hand his shenanigans. Liberals or NDP or... erm... NOT HARPER!

We have seized the means of production. Though union, and self-governance, we have organized between all peoples of the land.
