Rob Semloh
Suggestion to add a bulk pricing option for the trade menu. In other words, there is the normal per unit price for an item, but also allow someone to offer a "bulk price" at a discount if other players are willing to buy the entire bundle that is for sale. An example would be listing 3000 Steel on the world market for $2400/unit, or $2200/unit if another nation ruler buys the entire package of 3000 steel at once. Edited September 2, 2015 by Robert P. Shakyr
Could potentially go one step further and allow the amount to be customised too. Just add an extra two boxes below the current price box. First would be the "bulk price" and second would be "bulk amount". Bulk amount has to be a value <= 100% of the total amount. If "bulk amount" is less than the total amount, "bulk price" will apply whenever the amount bought is >= "bulk amount". That way you can setup a scenario whereby you have 30000 Food up for sale @ $110 per 1 unit or $100 per 5000 units or more.
Pax
It sounds cool, but I feel like this would drive down market prices a bit and make it harder for small nations (who don't have a ton of resources and can't afford thinner profit margins) to actually sell theirs off. It's already a pain to dump your resources when you're a small nation dealing in small amounts, particularly with lower demand resources like non-refined, gas, or munitions. You can organize bulk deals in the forum or send a player a private message and do personal trades. Quote Is there a bug? Report It | Not understanding game mechanics? Ask About It | Got a good idea? Azaghul
I wouldn't see very many people wanting to use this, as there's no real benefit to having one person buy your stuff as opposed to a bunch of people buy your stuff.
