These strategies Vanguard and Rose subscribe to must be very unorthodox if they come out as nonsense to the rest of us. http://politicsandwar.com/forums/index.php?/topic/8151-how-this-war-should-play-out/page-4#entry134455 As I keep having to tell people on IRC for some reason: Rose is begging us to let them join the war, but we've forbidden them from doing so. So it went like this then I gather. Rose: We're ready. What time do you want us to attack? Vanguard: No don't! Rose: Why? Vanguard: Hold off for a week or so until Mensa has pounded us into mush, then you come in and hit them when it'll be most effective. Rose: Uh... I don't think... actually yeah that sounds pretty smart. We'll do as you say. So either Rose has left Vanguard out to take a beating from Mensa... or Vanguard is as dumb as a bag of hammers and has asked Rose to let them take that beating... really not seeing why you would think looking stupid beats Rose looking like bad allies.
