They'll grow right back up to their previous position within a month or two after the war ends, and if they learned anything from this war ( Given they stick around ) - they may do even better. I had that issue with the 99 percent before they dispersed. The easiest way to avoid that was to get the new nations set up with 3 cities before they were no longer start beige and it solved the problem. After checking I see Wilhelm has abandoned his alliance (while at war) to go fight in Rose's war. Just another future merge victim for Rose I suppose. Oh well, we went up a place and thats cool.
