We now have a Triumvirate, it consists of the Coordinator of Internal Affairs, the Coordinator of War Preparations, and the Coordinator of Foreign Affairs. The new government outlined here: Coordinator of Internal Affairs - Heinrich Kaufmann Coordinator of War Preparations - Milkman Coordinator of Foreign Affairs - Hugo We have ratified the document below as our official constitution. It outlines how the government works, what each Coordinator's job is, and the voting procedures. Article 1: The Ideals of the Socialist Workers' Front 1. The Socialist Workers' Front strives to promote political, economic, and social equality on Orbis 2. The Socialist Workers' Front is comprised of sovereign member states, who are expected to make their own decisions for what is best for their people. 3. The Socialist Workers' Front expects its members to work toward achieving the common goals of bettering the alliance and collectively pursuing political, economic, and social advances and equality within the alliance. 4. All members should act in accordance with this constitution, and work together to make any necessary changes through the framework that it provides. Article 2: The People's Council 1. The People's Council of the Socialist Workers' Front is consists of all members of the alliance. 2. The People's Council is the most powerful body within the alliance. 3. All proposed legislation must pass with a majority vote in the People's Council before it is enacted. 4. All alliance wide offensive wars declarations must be passed with a majority vote by the People's Council. *excluding treaty obligations 5. Every member of the Socialist Workers' Front have the ability to propose and vote on the following; Legislation, Offensive Wars, Initiate a vote of no confidence in coordinators, Expulsion of individual members from the alliance, and Constitutional Amendments. 6. All members of the People's Council have the right to nominate themselves for a coordinator position if it becomes vacant. 7. The People's Council of the Socialist Workers' Front may not be dissolved for any reason Article 4: Voting Procedure 1. Every member has the right to propose a vote via the alliance's forum 2. All votes must be discussed in their own thread for at least 24 hours before a vote thread may be opened up. 3. Members have the right to change their vote and/or abstain from voting. 4. All vote threads will remain open for 48 hours unless the triumvirate declares a State of Emergency that is related to the vote in question 5. For a vote to pass it must reach a total of 50% + 1 of total votes 6. Any member of the People's Council may declare a vote “Controversial†and extend the vote for up to 24 hours Article 5: The Triumvirate 1. The triumvirate is made up of the 3 following government positions a. Coordinator of Internal Affairs (Co-IA) – The Co-IA is in charge of handling all bank and economic related decisions, recruitment organization, and the creation of propaganda. This individual is also in charge of everything related to the alliances forums and alliance page b. Coordinator of Foreign Affairs (Co-FA) – The Co-FA is in charge of heading up all projects related to foreign politics and diplomacy. The Co-FA should be the voice of the alliance for all Orbis wide announcements. It is this individuals responsibility to ensure that the triumvirate properly represents the desires of the People's Council when negotiating treaties, making announcements, negotiating terms, etc. c. Coordinator of War Preparations (Co-WP) – The Co-WP is in charge of ensuring that the alliance is prepared for war. This includes but is not limited to the organization of the military, training exercises, and setting War Chest requirements. This individual should work with the other Coordinators to prevent unnecessary wars and ensure that we do everything to ensure that the alliance is ready to take on any threat at a moments notice. The Triumvirate should work together to make decisions and find ways to best serve the alliance. 3. Each Coordinator may create and fill any number of secretary positions to help them fulfill their duties 4. Any member of the People's Council may nominate themselves for a Coordinator position if it is vacant 5. All Coordinators must be approved by the People's Council by a majority vote. 6. Any member of the People's Council may initiate a vote of no confidence if they feel a coordinator is not fulfilling their duties or are abusing their power.
