1. 1. How long till Kastor Takes the hint?

    • Give it a week

    • Maybe a month
      2
    • I don't think he is intellectually capable of taking hints.

Kastor gets -1 missile in my book for sticking around through this. -1 missile as well for taking it as well as he is taking it and +0 missiles for doing nothing to offend me

How is he taking it well? He's been shitposting non-stop since this started.

My personal opinion of Kastor for all public viewing:

He's not my favorite person ever, and he knows this. But I certainly don't think he's terrible enough to drive away from Orbis. There are certainly more terrible people that have come and gone.

But it's posts like this that actually worry me about this community.

"Oh god! There's no war! So let's single out someone we don't like and publicly shame him for our sheer amusement!"

^That has quite honestly become this disgusting reoccurring theme in Orbis. I've sat here and watched since it's infancy, the players of this game slowly but steadily, drive away some of the most promising and useful members for no other reason than some stupid person opinion of the others character.

Now in my mind, this is just !@#$ing stupid. Plain and simple.

So there are some people out there you might not like. Welcome to the mother !@#$ing internet, !@#$s!

Please keep in mind that disagreements are what drive politics in these games. But here in PaW, we have (conveniently) all the strongest AA's allied or indirectly allied to each other. Why? Because of this same reoccurring pattern of driving away those disliked through public shaming and then embracing those who seem to have a similar "troll lyke I h8 shit 2" attitude.

Then we are all left with a stagnate cess pool of a community !@#$ing and complaining that there isn't enough war. Ever wonder why? Well here it is. Even though I've pointed this shit out countless times, you all still take me for some !@#$ing idiot regardless of the fact I've likely been observing this community longer than you've known about it.

But please, continue. This is probably my last and final attempt to point out this blatantly obvious problem.

It isn't that hard not to declare war on multiple people while simultaneously !@#$posting on the main forums. Everything being posted about Kastor is entirely his own fault. He 100% brought this on himself, and he did it intentionally.

The fact that you consider him "promising and useful" is hilarious to me.

Never said I considered him promising and useful. And everything being brought on Kastor is not entirely his fault. It takes two to tango, as they say.

Okay, okay, so answer this question for me. Whose fault is it that Kastor chose to attack three alliances and post a bunch of nonsense on the forums for attention?

There seems to be two opposing views here, the people who really just want someone to shit on, and the people who'd rather not have our community consist of people outcasting and shunning certain members of the community.

Now, I don't know what Kastor did, however, I feel that threads like this are very unnecessary, these kinds of threads accomplish one thing, and that's further outcasting a member of the community. Maybe I'd feel different if I knew what Kastor has supposedly done, but I'm inclined to agree with Fox Fire here that threads like this don't show good for ou r community.

Keeping in good spirits. That is taking it well. Foxfire is entirely right on the ramble that he/she (sorry fox i dont keep track of sexes) posted about our lack of wars. Too much politics to the point its depressing. Lets have some fun its a game right?

I had this all typed out and then my internet died. So !@#$ it. I've stated my point enough.

Kastor isn't the greatest, but you'd have to be a pretty serious douche bag on a personal level for me to want you to leave the game.

I don't think anyone is seriously saying he should leave the game. At some point, yes, people will get sick enough of him to drive "Kastor" out of the game if he keeps this up. That doesn't mean they're going to chase him across re-rolls.

The bottom line is that he's been making all these threads to draw all this attention to himself. This thread in particular was obviously not necessary, and only serves to give him the attention he wants, but to act as if he is some innocent victim of a ruthless community is just letting him off the hook. Remember, until he decided to leave DEIC and attack people, he was about as safe and secure as it can get. His own actions led him to where he is now, so how is he a victim?

Look, as much as I dislike Kastor, and I do, I dislike people who call for him to be driven from the game.

While his antics are juvenile and his shenanigans are evil, at least he's doing something to spice up his gameplay. While the rest of the game seems content to sit around playing tiddlywinks, he at least does something when he's bored.

And !@#$ you guys for making me stand up for Kastor.

Malone is right, Kastor is a little shit but he doesn't deserve to be pushed. He reminds me of me when I was a stupid brat. when I look back, I was in the same boat as Kastor is. He doesn't deserve anything in Orbis, but he also doesn't deserve to be pushed. I dislike you with a passion Kastor, but I am not going to push you, as no one else should.

IMO, lock this thread because this sort of behavior is exactly what this community has way too much of. !@#$ off OP, there is never a reason to attack people OOC based on what happens in the game.

I'm not going to read through all the pages but the creator of this thread, and all those who support it, should be ashamed of themselves.

Whether you like it or not, Kastor is a member of our community. Nothing he has done yet is something so heinous to deserve to be ostracized and banished from this community.

I'm not saying you have to love him or even stop hating him, but this just fuels what he does. Hate begets hate. If this is how he chooses to play, then so be it. But publicly denouncing him like this will only give him the attention he wants.

We've had people before that the community as a majority didn't like and we've never told any of them to bugger off like this before, have we? Because I'm pretty sure we haven't.

That's actually pretty bad for the game, you know? The idea is that the game by itself is so boring that you'd deliberately cultivate and maintain annoying and unbearable players because they increase clicks and increase user satisfaction. While I think that Kastor, if he's willing to play by the unstated rules of the game, should be allowed to stay, I also think that Kastor knew what he was doing (well, not really, if he leaves, I can give you an assessment of his psychology) and this is the natural consequences of his actions. Both he and us deserve that.

Not sure why you quoted me, because your paragraph seems to cement what I stated. So I'm not sure how what I said is bad for the game. I'm all for Kastor getting rolled. I'm all for him getting warred and spied. And if he finds it disastrous enough that he needs to re-roll, so be it. But calling him out OOC and attacking the player behind the character is not something I can abide. Simple as that. The community is small enough already that we don't need to drive people from it.
