Currency Bonus

I was thinking, that with the new addition of being able to choose Currency that you could add the Ability for a Bonus to be added for a Popular Currency.

 

Like, if a bunch of Nations are using the Same Currency, trading between those nations would obviously be much easier, so why not have so that the more Nations that use the Same Currency, that it provides a Small Boost to Revenue?

 

Some sort of Bonus I guess, I am not sure what but it still seems like something that would be pretty cool to see.

 

Also maybe Donators that can Create their Own Currency specific to their Nation? Personally I wouldn't do it, but I'd like to see what people come up with, seems like something that might be interesting.

That's what I meant by it, just like the Color Bonus. Only not as extreme of Revenue Boost, because that would going a bit far, but still a Revenue Boost... 5% Max?

The only problem is, the community might eventually just mutually agree to use the same currency, and if that happened, it would be pointless to have the addition in the first place.

It's like if a country wanted to force others to use their currency or else deals are much harder.... Oh wait, we do have an example of that in RL.

Well how about this.  we use the same exact formula as nation color, then divide that by 2. Each alliance has a currency. Members must have the same currency or no bonus. Same exact mechanics and formula exepct a divide by 2 at the end.

lolrandom idea: Currency gives 0.02% bonus to all who adopts it, per nation. If more than 100 nations have the same currency, it will go to zero and will never go back up, even if the number of users goes to zero. Beiging a nation will instantly make it adopt your currency. A nation can only change currency once per month.

 

Try that for a non-renewable resources

What about instead of making it game-wide dependent, have it be alliance dependent. What I mean by this is that there is a very marginal/meager/virtually nonexistent bonus for your currency depending on how widespread it is used inside your own alliance. In this way, we're not creating the risks for alliances to get together and decide what the game's currency is going to be, we're leaving it instead up to individual alliances.

Actually, I'd like to see this instead of a color stock. Instead, have currency stock. A little more accurate in my opinion.

This is even better, yeah replace Color Bonus with this... :D

Screw that. If my aa wants dongs and I want yuans, i dont get that option. Just keep it aesthetic
