I can say that this thread was a bit too far but irregardless of cg's poetry it appears Mensa is the one at fault for hitting another alliance that is active and on the forums. The PR hit from this is going to outweigh whatever benefits you guys may get from rolling SI. 

 

I'm pretty sure Mensa HQ will be ok.  It seems that whatever wrong we do is against smaller alliances that think we should cater to their demands and don't understand negotiations and compromises.

 

I mean, Pfeiffer could've told him to bugger off. At the very least he attempted to negotiate till he was attacked.

 

SI didn't even retaliate against the raiders, and that could've been much more understandable than attacking our leader.

I get your point but comparing this to the Holocaust is a bit much. Hereno did attack Pfeiffer after all ffs.

 

I'm not condoning the raiding. But the reparations talk sound like a big misunderstanding to me.

Pfeiffer had one simple request: have the members who were raided message him, and reparations would've been dealt. You responded with an attack, we responded back. Now you have to deal with the consequences your stubborn leadership style and lack of patience have brought on you and your alliance.

If you said you'd pay reps, you should have sent them by now, not just sit back and have those raided come to you. If you really were in the right, you would have paid by now. As Hereno is the alliance leader, you pay the reps to the bank. Regardless of if the member logs on and talks to you. You're paying the money either way, so I don't see the point in doing it Hereno's way. He should be able to decide where the reps are going.

 

But thank you for this war. #10 of my predictions is now crossed off the list. So meh.
