The Exploit IRC Casino and Game Room

The Exploit IRC Casino and Game Room is open for business. It can be found in #casino, on irc.coldfront.net. Currently the casino offers 3 different slot machine games, a roulette wheel, 3 player vs player dice games, Blackjack, Get Bit!, Love Letter, Zombie Dice, Werewolf, Border Crossing (Sheriff of Nottingham), Seven Card Stud, and Texas Hold'em. All games within the casino are based on PnW currency. The exchange rate is 100 PnW to 1 casino credit/point. Accounts and credit can be established by contacting the operators in #casino or PM'ing me in-game. 

 

Added a new channel, #slotroom, for the purpose of spamming the slots.

 

I've gone ahead and made all games (except for the slot machines) free to play. The minimum wager/pot for all games is now 0, so anyone can play for free if the wager/pot is set to 0 at the start of a game.

 

 

To add credit to an account:

Send a trade offer in the amount you wish to add (check exchange rate) to either myself or to Ashland. If you wish to use Ashland as an intermediary, please use the Cirrus bank thread and clearly state that your deposit is for credit in the Exploit IRC Casino (#casino).

!coinflip           >>> Flips a coin; gives heads or tails.

!8ball <Question>                   >>> At the cost of 1 point, will answer any yes or no question. Over 50 possible responses.

!magicfinger <Question>        >>> At the cost of 1 point, will (usually) single somebody in the channel out as an answer to a "who" question.

!donate <nick> <quantity>    >>> Will transfer credit to another player. <> should not be a part of the actual command input.

 

Account Security:

/msg CasinoBot !transfer <nick> <quantity>      >>> Everything in the channel is logged, however should you be concerned with the security of your account when you are not on IRC, I have provided the ability to transfer credits to another account in private. <nick> is essentially your password. Pick a nickname that no one will use or suspect and then when you are finished playing, send your account balance to that nickname using this command. The nickname does not need to be registered with nickserv. When you want to use your credits in the casino again, start up a new IRC client or server window and join the IRC server using your private nick (you don't need to join the channel, only the server), then use the same command to transfer credits back to your public account. All transactions, both public and private are logged. Alternatively you can utilize !closeaccount and wait for me to get back online.

The house takes a rake of 3% (this is negotiable depending upon duration, number of players, and the players themselves). Private parties can be established upon request. Great for diplomacy and establishing friendly relations with other alliances in an already utilized and convenient medium. Also great for role playing as international terrorists and secret agents.

Liar's Dice

(aka Pirate Dice)

 

Each player has two choices during his turn: make a higher bid, or challenge the previous bid as being wrong. The player may bid an increased quantity of any face, or the same quantity of a higher face. If the current player thinks the previous player's bid is wrong, he challenges it, and then all dice are revealed to determine whether the bid was valid. If the number of the relevant face revealed is at least as high as the bid, then the bid is valid, in which case the bidder wins.

Introducing a new Player vs. Player casino game: 

 

HOG

 

Hog (also called Pig) is a "push your luck" dice game, similar to games such as Zombie Dice and Pass the Pig, though is the simplest of them. In Hog, players alternate turns trying to reach 100 points first. On each turn, the current player chooses some number of dice to roll, up to 10. He or she scores the sum of the dice outcomes, unless any of the dice come up a 1 (Pig out), in which case he or she scores 0 points for the turn.

Introducing a new Player vs. Player casino game: 

 

STUD DICE

 

A relatively simple game, in Stud Dice each player rolls 3 dice during round one. These three dice rolls are known only to the player that rolled them. Once rolled, the betting for round one commences. If a player is not satisfied with their rolls, he or she may fold, which will remove them from the game. Once the betting is finished, round two begins and each remaining player rolls three more dice, but this time these three dice rolls are known to everyone. Betting then commences for round two. When betting is complete for round two, all dice rolls are revealed and the player with the highest sum of dice rolls wins the pot. 

 

Each game has a pot limit established by the starting player. To join a game, the player must have within his or her account enough to meet the pot limit. The minimum pot limit at his time is 150 casino credits. Each player contributes 1/10 of the pot limit to the pot at the beginning of the game as a blind bet.

Introducing a new Player vs. Player casino game: 

 

WEREWOLF

 

Werewolf, also known as Mafia, is a party game of 5 or more players. The majority of players in this game will be normal villagers. They are thying to root out the werewolves who have infested their village. The werewolves objective is to kill off all other players, but must do so without being outed as a werewolf. Another player takes the role of the Seer, who can investigate the roles of other players during the night phase.

 

The current settings for the game are:

 

Minimum wager: 100

 

Pot winnings are divided by the number of players on the winning team and evenly distributed to the winning team, living or dead. Wolves will get more if they win since there are fewer wolves relative to villagers. To partially compensate for this, an innocent child role was introduced for 8+ players.

 

5-8 players: 1 wolf, 1 seer, and rest villagers 

8-12 players: 2 wolves, 1 seer, 1 innocent child***, and rest villagers

12-14 players: 3 wolves, 2 masons, 1 seer, 1 innocent child***, and rest villagers 

 

***The innocent child can sometimes be the seer, making them a Child Seer.
