Popular Post Kevanovia
From The Desk of the Lord Paramount of Camelot & Warden of Anti-Nefarious Groups *Recognition of Injustice* For far too long, Camelot—and many others—have endured the disproportionate influence and unjust treatment imposed by the major powers within Orbis. Across every corner of this virtual world, the same frustrations echo: stagnant politics, opaque foreign affairs, and widespread apathy. We dared to speak up, to challenge the status quo—and for that, we were made martyrs. Some of our brightest rising stars have tried to trace the root of these issues (you might need ChatGPT to decipher their more impassioned findings). At its core, the problem lies with a self-appointed elite—a group cloistered in their Ivory Tower™, who monopolize political influence and make decisions in closed circles. When we called out this imbalance, we weren’t debated—we were dismissed, silenced, and discredited, as if the voices of the wider Orbis community didn’t matter. This time, they’ve gone too far. Many will remember the Dial Up War—or, as it's better known among the uninformed, NPOLT—as a dark chapter, marked by some factions explicitly aiming to drive others out of the game and prolonging the conflict to achieve that. In the aftermath, alliances came together in good faith to establish a long-form Non-Aggression Pact and committed to resetting diplomatic relations, vowing never again to push communities out of Orbis. And yet, here we are—five years later. The cycle repeats. Flags Are Fairly Similar.... This is exactly why we preempted TFP. As our King Epi has made clear, they were the ones who broke the NAP—not us. TFP has had it out for Camelot for a long time, and this was simply the final straw. After years of struggling to form a credible bloc, they've finally clawed their way into the inner circle. And now, unsurprisingly, they're using that influence to decide who gets a seat at the Orbis table—and who gets told to pack up and leave. Case in point: Ashwin998 of Schwinnland (or should we say Sch’lose’land? Right, @Firwof Kromwell? High five!) decided to spin up a private server, inviting a curated list of alliance leaders to privately discuss the “fate” of others. 'The Geneva Convention' (And if you notice a familiar name or two from the list our junior reporter uncovered in another thread—well, just more coincidences... right?) (This screenshot was taken shortly before Epi, King of Camelot & King of our Hearts, was booted from the server) TFP were justly hit—just as others have been before them. Judgement Day, the Crusades, Drama Island, Hatebi Is Awesome—you name it. These moments are part of the political fabric of Orbis. But in response to their well-earned hit, TFP chose to escalate in a way we've never seen before: by attempting to expel Camelot from Orbis itself. And that brings us to the core of this saga. Behold the premise of their server— Not content with just lobbing unjust hits, they’ve now taken it upon themselves to silence us entirely. Apparently, even talking to Camelot is now a punishable offense. Imagine that—thoughtcrime, Orbis edition. Discourse? Dialogue? Diplomacy? Nope—get the torches. At what point does this stop being “justice” and start looking like a badly written conspiracy theory with a grudge and a Discord server? We gave a 3 week notice of exiting the agreement that was already broken. This is a fact that a select few choose to forget. Look, I’ll admit it: during the Dial Up War, we didn’t exactly cover ourselves in glory. We hitched ourselves to the NPO/BK/GOONS/Pooolaris/Arcadia/Sphinx/Tagalongs. Not our finest hour. But since then, we’ve done what few alliances actually bother to do—we evolved. King Epi, myself, and others put in the work to rebuild Camelot into something better. We stopped being the villain. We picked up the shovel, did our time in the PR trenches, and rebuilt a kingdom people actually wanted to fight for. But of course, that doesn’t matter to the Ivory Tower™ Elite, who seem to have discovered a sudden passion for cosplay—specifically, dressing up as the very regime they once claimed to hate. They throw around the word “justice” like it’s a hot new alliance, but what they’re really after is control. Power. And maybe a little attention and a security blanket for their precious pixels. So here we are: Camelot, once again the heretic in a holy war of hypocrisy. And all because we dared to do something different. Claims made by our confused Junior Reporter have been further verified with additional proof: Spoiler (ORGANIZING MERGERS, IMPACTING OTHERS. WITHOUT. ASKING.) (MAKING CONTROLLED AND INFLUENCED COMMUNITY SERVERS. IMPACTING OTHERS. WITHOUT. ASKING.) (MAKING DECISIONS TO DROP AND ROLL ANOTHER AA..while asking...BUT WITHOUT. ASKING.) (MOVING A CONVO ALONG. MANIPULATING. WITHOUT. ASKING.) (MAKING !@#$ES LISTEN TO HIM. WITHOUT. ASKING) (TRICKING OBLIVION INTO SPY ATTACKS. WITHOUT. ASKING.) A Gentle Reminder that Oblivion Is Double Protected By Cam.
