Farewell (for now?)

Hey everyone!

It's been a while since I started playing this game, and in all honesty my interest in it is dwindling, partly because of things that happened in-game and partly just because I've gotten very busy with real-life things.

It's been... quite a journey in this game. I went from a semi-controversial, stubborn non-Discord-using nano leader who made bad forum posts and even worse decisions, to actually being nominated for a player award last year (Side note: thank you guys so much for that!!) and hopefully being a decent member of this community. It's been two and a half years now and I've definitely taken a few breaks but for the most part I've been a gov member in various alliances for two years. 

When I helped create Aequitas, I was c10 and a brand new 2ic with no gov experience and no Discord. From there, I stayed in gov almost consistently and worked with my friends there to bring us up to... at least large micro status at some point (and had some fun with blitzing nanos on the way because Milcom is Amazing). I guess that's where I learned a LOT both about this game and about just how to be a good leader and good community member altogether, and that's also where I met some of the best people I've ever been lucky enough to meet in this game.

From there I went on to The Foundation, stayed in gov for a bit (on-and-off since I had some irl stuff going on at the time) and also got to meet some really awesome people there, then over to The Aegis Order, which was unfortunately very short-lived, though I absolutely enjoyed the time I had there. After the Aegis split is when I really started to lose interest in the game, sadly, having left a community I'd pretty much followed all the way from the beginning of Aequitas (into the TAI-WR merge and then the FND-AK one). I moved over to Libertas and then Fairy Tail, and though I truly loved both of them, they just weren't the same.

So I guess this is goodbye to the game, at least for now. Maybe when I have a bit more free time I'll get back to the game though :3

I really do appreciate all the awesome people in this community who have worked with me, stood up for me, become good friends and overall helped me become a better leader and a better person. I genuinely cannot list everyone but here's an incomplete list anyway haha- @Mars, @Autumn Annayah, RoManic, Maximus, @Rageproject @Sorra Himguard, Godsbane, @Carnage101 @Ketagaming @BigGtheSlayer, @Themonia, @Fine, @MrNukey and many, many others 💙

Salve, while I won't say myself to be your friend or any tight acquaint in any way, conversing with you on a general basis has always been delightful. I literally was thinking to end up as long-term good friends and maybe requesting you to be FA for my future project, lol. You are definitely a competent player with a touch of niceness.
