At least Hillary knows not to call herself 1/16th native american in attempt to catch a small demographic. Joe Biden is looking the most promising, in my opinion. But also in my opinion, there is no need for a democratic candidate, as the conservative party will most likely get at least 70% of the points needed. I suggest that the democrats take a term vacation, and hand it off to the independant and libertarian parties to try their best at besting the republicans, and get more than 4% of the votes for once. When the next person serves their term(s), and everyone realizes that it wasn't the democrats' fault that shit happened, but a bad timing, the parties will gradually even back out over the next 20 odd years, and we all share a laugh because no matter what party a president represents, they aren't going to be better at it because of it, instead, it is only the quality of the person. That is why I believe that gov't parties in general are garbage, and that we shouldn't vote on people because of their groups, but instead of their own personal opinions. Every president after FDR up to Clinton served in the military because every male in America served in the military, the era from 1917 to 1946 was the era of mass conscription. Clinton didn't serve in the military and GWB barely did (he was in the national guard and fought in no battles and was never even deployed overseas). What is a scandal, imho, is how no Vietnam veteran has ever been president. McCain got close, though his policies are terrible and somehow he became a warmonger.
