Please vote on which of the 4 basic units are the strongest to the weakest. Some of the score formulas are being looked at and the weight of unit types is being tweaked.

Planes is no doubt the strongest, followed by tanks, the only counter to planes outside of planes. Ships come in third. They’re more powerful than planes as far as dealing damage, but they can’t air strike any unit, and they also take a lot of resources. Soldiers come in last. In raiding, however, soldiers are king.

Definitely probably not the right place for this, but, yeah:

Ground
1a. Snipers - Deal "higher critical" damage. (Utter Failure, Pyrrhic Victory, Moderate Victory, and Immense Triumph chances are increased when using this unit.)
1b. Grenadier - Deal wide spread AoE damage. (When using this unit, there is a 25-50% increase in chance to destroy the correlating improvement. Eg, Barracks/Factories, if attacking ground.) Grenadiers will have a drop down menu similar to that of Missiles, where they can focus fire on a group of improvements. Doing so invokes civilian casualties as well as infra loss.

2. Tanks
2a. Light Tank - Light Tanks are "faster", at a mind blowing 2 MAP to use during selected ground attacks. They deal less damage, and have "less armor" than their default counterpart.
2b. Medium Tank - The default tank
2c. Heavy Tank - Literally the opposite of Light Tanks, but, with a 4 MAP usage. They have an increased kill ratio, cause more infra damage, and a higher chance of destroying improvements.
2d. Artillery - 4 MAP's, the power of a full ship attack, but with the option of selecting what unit/improvement section you want. 

3. Airplanes
3a. Bomber - Costs more to make than default planes, roughly double the aluminum. Uses more munitions/gasoline. Does "critical damage", and severe destruction when targeting units. (Maybe add a project, like, "Bomber Assist Squadron; when using the Bomber, a fleet of escorting ships will help reduce airborne casualties from enemy air/ground units.

4. Ships
4a. Destroyer - Causes increased losses against enemy ships. Costs less than current default ship.
4b. Cruiser - Comparable to the current default, but with less firepower.
4c. Submarine - Increased "stealth" provides far less casualties than the current default ship rate, while also providing intelligence information after every attack. Able to select units/improvements.

This statement was nearly unreadable pls fix. Anyway Planes are the most versatile by far (We all should know that) but as far as the best damage per Map. I don't know. It's dependent of what you're hitting and with what. Infra damage? Nukes or ships. Unit damage? Probably tanks and soldiers maybe. Or even Planes really. Every situation is a bit different.

I would consider soldiers last place but their benefit to raiding puts them above ships. I also consider how ships lack any use other than infra damage since blockading someone is useless if a player has any competence.

I dont think this poll is useful. Units cost different amounts, they attack in different ways etc. 

For instance, soldiers cost $5 each, so they should always be weaker per unit than e.g. a plane which costs $4000 + 5 alu. 

If you wanted a balanced rock paper's scissors thing going, you'd have planes counter ground, ground counter ships, and ships counter planes (or similar). No matter how you "tweak" the casualty formulas, you won't be able to achieve this kind of balance, because it's a behavioral issue, not a weighting. 

Also, yes. Nukes/missiles need tp be buffed. Especially with the projects (id, vds), at higher city counts they become super irrelevant. Maybe nuke/missile buys can scale e.g. at 20 cities you can launch 4 missiles, and buy 4 each day, idk. (resistance / MAP would need to be tweaked for this to be workable)

I'd say that ships can be pretty helpful when used right. If you get blockaded and, like me, you buy your resources instead of producing them (I have a ton of commerce but no resource production aside from the Resource Production Center), then when you run out of food/uranium/steel then you can't rebuild your military or anything. I'm stuck in this situation right now as I'm in a ton of wars I can't win because I'm blockaded and have no steel left. I also consider ships pretty good for infra damage and inactive raids, because, if you're attacking a nation without a lot of ships and you have a good number, you can destroy a ton of infra, and since an immense triumph eliminates 14 resistance, it's better than airstrikes when it comes to raiding inactive nations.

I voted ships for 3rd strongest because of the large amount of infra damage they can do. Plus 1 ship is definitely more powerful than 1 soldier smh

And the person I was referring to voted for ships in all categories except the last one. They believe ships are the strongest, second strongest and third strongest all at the same time.

You must be spending too much time in VM to be unaware of the uncounterable ship meta

it really does depends on the situation

    If you’re a raider or pirate then tank will be the strongest and second will be soldier to get most $$$ as possible  from looting. 

      For attrition plane will be the strongest it does most infra damage than both soldier and tank combine .  

  So,  the best if you’re not a raider will be plane , tank , soldier and tank just like the poll voter majority . Any raider wanna disagree with me?
