[Merge] The Fall of the Phoenix

[Dream]

A millennia ago, the Divine Phoenix took upon the sky, bestowing wealth and prosperity onto the land. Wherever it soared; trees grew, flowers bloomed, rivers flowed, and the wasteland gradually transformed into a civilization known as The Phoenix Church. With time, the blessings of this holy bird became well-known, and the church gained disciples from all over the world. It grew into a prosperous and wealthy commune. 

Many tried to conquer the land for themselves, although they only found themselves to be disappointed. As time went by, the Church became more prosperous and the Discipleship increased. It was during that time that one misguided soul gained power within the church, using its wealth for personal greed and to fulfill grudges. This period is regarded as the dark history of the Phoenix Church which lasted over a century, from which it was never able to recover. 

Many attempts were made to revive the Church to its true glory, all of which failed. After a millennium of blessing the land, fauna began to die, rivers dried up, and the land deteriorated once again into nothing. The Divine Phoenix entered eternal sleep, withdrawing all of its blessings from the land.

The Phoenix Church was destroyed, causing great peril among the people. During this time of uncertainty, the inhabitants of the wasteland offered a helping hand. They offered homage to the homeless, fed the people, and took them under their protection and taught them the ways of surviving the apocalypse.

That's the least of my concerns, Changeup. This time around feels far more like a betrayal. We were told about this by a third party after it was already essentially a done deal to later confirm with them, after months of helping them with numerous things they were struggling with.

For all the enjoyment I had poking fun at SOS/DPE/DP during the 3 globals we fought against them this past year, I still think it had some decent elements that made it an alliance with more promise than most. I'm a bit disappointed to see it never fully managed to fly on its own, but I wish members of both alliances good luck with the merger.

Could you expect anything more from Zurg/@Codename V? Lets see: leaves cataclysm to form a micro, merges into an ailing DPE to get a gov spot. Merges them back into cataclysm. So the plan all along was to steal an alliance like you stole a bank. Same MO, bigger scale. 

Are we just going to let you get away with this? Probably. Because the FA of the world are too fixated on their past grudges and DMs to see a continuous looming threat.

I've been awoken from my fricking slumber to hear that the alliance that accepted 400-500 fricking applicants for the memes and shit has merged with another as equally shitty Alliance.
