What do people think about a trial period? A couple months of allowing higher credit caps and we can monitor closely the use them and if the result is as bad as people fear?

Implement the projects ASAP, alliance roles are fine so they should be brought in. But the increase to the credit cap is a very bad idea, no amount of "trial period" will change that. Its pay to win pure and simple, it greatly cheapens the level of accomplishment new players can achieve as they build their nation up from c10, when you can just jump to c20 off the bat. Whilst also continuing to hurt the game through yet another avenue to inflate cash and resource totals.

If anything the game badly needs new resource sinks, (new projects etc). The credit system was fine before anyway, I'm not sure why it should be changed when it wasn't as broken as this proposed change.

Instead of doubling the amount of credits you can buy, should double the return per credit, definitely would result in more spent in game than this idea, and we're overdue for another increase imo.

Overall not too worried that this will make the game pay to win , am worried that this is directing towards milking current spenders than bringing on new ones.

Any update on the update?

Still WIP, debugging the alliance positions update is taking longer than expected. I really want to make sure there aren't a bunch of issues with it, because if there are, it's going to be absolute madness when pushed live.

Out of curiosity, did we decide to increase the credit limit for March?

It will likely happen sometime *in* March, but probably not until weeks 2-4.

One can look at the % of active players that periodically buy credits and if that number is as high as 50%, increasing the credit cap will definitely change the landscape of the game. If that % is low (like 10%), then the change in credit cap will not really impact majority of others in the game - and won’t change the landscape of the game much.
