I actually wanted to write to you also and see if your were interested in a similar style geopolitical forum based simulator game. 

Nations: DOH is a forum based geopolitical simulator where players choose real world nations and manage that nations domestic, international and military policies. Using In character diplomacy you manage yours nations trade and diplomatic relations as well if necessary military conflicts. Note that this game is not military and conflict orientated although you can go to war there is no pressure to build your military and start one, you can choose to focus on economics or diplomacy. 

The nations are chosen on a first come first serve basis so long as you have a grasp of real world International relations you can play as any nation you desire so long as its not taken. Come choose early now to get toue top choices before plenty more players join. Each round is set in a different time period, last round was a 1950s cold ear Era round and this one is set in modern day 2021. Emphasis is placed on realism so if you chose to play the Bahamas you wouldn't go invading China

The game mechanics are simple. Each nation has its own personal forum that only you can see which has your nations military,  budget and economic stats. In addition to conductin  diplomacy with the other players you send in actions to react or direct your nation in a certain direction. Actions are categorized as Domestic, Intel, Military, International and Economic. So for instance if you were writing up an action to invest a certain sector of your economy you would write up a detailed action in your thread and drop a link in the economic action catcher. The game moderators process each actions and write up a news article corresponding to that action and post it in the world news section that all the players are able to read what you've done. Same with all other types of actions. 

There is also a forum dedicated to National news stations where each nation post there own national Station and write up news articles for there country. Also a press thread for government press releases and several forums dedicated to international organizations such as the UN, NATO , EU and many others. 

If your interested in political simulation and International relations this is definitely a game you will like. Although politics and war is also a fun game, Nations: DOH focuses more on player to player interaction and allowing other players to recognize and respond to the little actions you do. Will you pick a European nation and try to reorganize the EU or NATO? Play a African Dictatorship? Try to counter China in the Pacific or US Imperialism in the Middle East? 

Back a few years ago we had well over a hundred active players but with the years and changes of forum our numbers have dwindled to a couple dozen or so but there is an established and loyal player base that have been around for years some of us 15+ playing round after round and we look forward to welcoming new players. Seeing as though we have no app and no real way to advertiser our game, I figured maybe a game like this with a similar genre, it could help bring in new players.
