There were a handful of other suggestions in the Name the War? thread, but I trimmed the list slightly and came up with the poll choices above. It does include an option to vote for none of the choices, in which case you're free to add a new suggestion. This isn't an official poll (since there really can't be an "official poll" for such things), but let's see how it pans out.

Votes will not be public.

Ignore my post will ya? I shall call it the Burning of Atlas just to spite you, Reagan.

Edit: The War of Defensive Aggression made me chuckle, so it gets a spirit vote.

TheNG - My favorite part is when Steve suggests DEIC might have done something remotely successful, then gets massively shit on for proposing such a stupid idea.

Alright, the The DEIC Saves the Day War better win this thing.

Also, mildly surprised no one came up with The Atlas Shrugged War before me. That was waiting to be made.

Actually, I was thinking since generally the winner writes history, the winner should decide?

Entirely possible. Like I said, this is an unofficial poll. It's results aren't written in stone. I've just seen this done in the past over in (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) every time a big war rolls around and it's usually what's used to decide the names with. Doesn't really matter to me, though. I have no stake in it.

Like as part of the surrender agreement the winner makes the loser call the war {insert name here}?

I'm disappointed in y'all for not voting from The 300th Politics and War War.

Did we really have 300 P&W wars already?

>implying any of these options are better than The Shitposting War

I voted for The Defensive Agression war though.

You're no longer protecting the II? We have still teamed with II and TAC (and others) to rival The Covenants. This is getting complex.

Big problems for TSG. Really, not kidding.

If Casey and Cyradis are King and Queen does that mean they're married?

Wouldn't it be called the Atlas-Purplite War? Or the War of Name Calling Behind Closed Doors? lol

Rolls off the tongue right?

Also I agree with Captain Nao, the winner should name the war. For doesn't the winner write the history books.

If Atlas wins this war EoS will be called evil liars who where just looking to pick a fight.

While if the EoS and Friends win, Atlas will be the guys who said a bunch of smack behind closed doors and couldn't back it up.

Perception is a beautiful thing isn't it?

Or am I over thinking things?

Guys, I can't think of a ton of wars named to make one side look bad. Usually, they're named after some quality of the war. Hundred Years War, Vietnam War, World War/Great War, War of 1812... We should be looking at qualities.

EoS is purple, and they were aggressive. Those are qualities, I vote the War of Purple Aggression.

"They're turning kids into slaves just to make cheaper sneakers.

But what's the real cost? ‘Cause the sneakers don't seem that much cheaper.

Why are we still paying so much for sneakers when you got them made by little slave kids?

What are your overheads?"

Dead man hand... All the way

[17:17:58] <&Ashland> I will give you hops if you say this phrase:

[17:18:13] <&Ashland> "Man, I really wish Rose had allied BoC a couple months ago when we had the chance instead of picking Vanguard."

Judging by the posts alone, it would appear that "the War of Debatable Aggression" has achieved general acceptance, but judging by the votes, there is obviously a large faction of silent voters backing "the War of Purple Aggression" (a faction of which I was technically a part until I broke my silence on the matter). There's definitely some sociological implication to be derived from this dichotomy, but I don't want to speculate too heavily as to what it may be. :P
